The next night arrived, Haley and Ashley were cuddling each other on the couch in the living room while watching the original Halloween by John Carpenter.

Blake was currently in his room by himself, studying and researching various scientific topics such as body decomposition, viruses, and ball lightning.

These three things were the most interesting to him, especially ball lightning.

A Melanie Martinez playlist was playing in the background at a slightly low volume.

He hated obnoxiously loud music as it usually startled him and made him feel uneasy.

The man wore a pair of pastel pink reading glasses while staring into his brightly lit computer screen.

Dark mode wasn't anything new, but it was just now becoming a more popular thing. Unfortunately for Blake, his computer had no dark mode feature, and many sites didn't either. It was rare to find anything like that.

"The latest news for all you conspiracy theorists out there..." The man said out loud. He typically did this when alone. Blake saw an article with the exact title of what he had just said. It didn't have tons of views whatsoever apparently, only about seventeen. This article seemed to mention something about vampires and werewolves.

"What an interesting article..." The man said with a smirk before clicking on it.

After a while of reading it, the man fell asleep in his black chair, Haley opened his door and asked, "Hey, do you wanna come with us to see a movie?"

Blake shrieked as he fell over, his boyfriend and girlfriend immediately began giggling at the sight of this.

"Wh-What?!... Oh... Um... Sure I guess. Which car are we taking?" He responded.

"Oh, I was thinking maybe the Toyota Camry." Haley answered.

"Alrighty... Fine with me." Blake said.

"Cool! It's a romantic comedy, be prepared to cringe your ass off." Haley chuckled. "We'll be heading to the theater in about an hour and a half. So in the meantime... Why don't we all have some... Quality fun together, preferably out in the cold air on a park bench... Spending Valentine's Day together."

He then kissed Ashley on the cheek before holding her left hand with his right hand.

"Hm... Sounds tempting. Might have to think it through." Blake replied.

"I don't think you have a choice." Ashley told him while smirking.

"Alright I guess. Sure, let's go." Blake said.

The three then went to Hacaluca Parks. It was within the north side of Salik City.

They arrived to an unclaimed bench under some red and purple heart lights strung across them.

"How fancy..." Blake commented.

"It really is, isn't it?" Haley asked with a giggle.

"Looks very fucking tacky not gonna lie. Wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't originally like this, and someone just decided to put these lights there..." Ashley said.
