Loki x Reader: Short Stories

Pretty Little Kitty Part 1

"Where? Where am I?" you ask yourself as you stare up and around at the several buildings that surrounded you as you continue to wander, hoping no one would try and take you again. You managed to escape, however, that was a few weeks ago and you were starving, unable to find much food, but seeing as there were so many buildings, you figured you'd find something somewhere. At first, you thought this might be the campus of a university or something, but there weren't any people around, not to mention as you continued to search, you noticed some fancy-looking military jets. So your initial guess of this being a fancy school was wrong, but you hoped whoever was in charge around here wouldn't have a problem with you trespassing. Of course, you weren't too worried about it as you weren't exactly human, they couldn't get mad at you for showing up uninvited, as a little kitty wouldn't know any better.  

You weren't always a cat though, a few weeks ago you were a typical human lady, at least, you were pretty sure you were, as you had a few memories of being one. To be fair, you didn't have many memories but you saw enough to understand what happened, well, to get a rough idea anyway, as you had no idea how they turned you into a cat. You wish you could remember more but any time you tried to think about it your head would hurt so much, like it didn't want to recall your past as it was far too painful. Besides that, you were kind of getting too hungry to think about anything else, and the rain that began to fall was certainly not helping the situation. Oddly enough even as a cat, you didn't mind the rain, however, you figured it would be best if you didn't stay outside, as being cold and wet could lead to you getting sick.  

You make your way into one of the buildings, finding it relatively easy to sneak in as you were so small, plus with the intelligence of a human, you knew how to work door handles. You take a moment to shake yourself, doing your best to dry off a little, but you were mostly unsuccessful, it didn't bother you too much though as in your opinion, you were dry enough. So with that out of the way, you decided to find something to eat, however, before you started looking, you caught sight of a mirror,  taking a quick peak at yourself as you still didn't really know what you looked like yet. I mean, you were able to stare at most of yourself by turning your head and sitting in different positions but honestly, you wanted to see the whole picture. So with a sigh, or I guess a breathy meow, you plopped yourself down in front of the reflective surface, waiting until you were completely in front of the thing before checking yourself out.  

You had to admit it, you were pretty cute for a cat, if human you saw a little kitty that looked like this you would probably explode with joy, as you remember loving cats. You had big blue eyes, medium-sized slightly round cat ears, a big and long fluffy tail, sharp claws, and white, grey, and silvery fur, although you could swear there was just the tiniest hint of blue. You also noticed that your fur had a pattern to it, the different colours weren't random, in fact, you had to say it reminded you of a snow leopard, except the grey-silvery spots were a bit lighter. You continue to stare at your reflection, wondering what the humans who did this to you were planning, as it didn't make any sense for them to make animals from people when you could just breed regular animals.  

Before you could think too much about it, a new scent caught your nose, it made your fur stand on end and your body tense up, it took you by surprise but it smelt so amazing. You still weren't completely used to all of your animal senses yet, they were so strong and overwhelming, you couldn't help but freeze up and get scared any time you heard something loud. However, you were trying to do better, taking a deep breath, you relax your mind and start to follow the delicious scent, hoping that whatever it was, there was lots of it. You eventually reach what looked like a kitchen, discovering that what you were smelling was chicken and you couldn't stop yourself as you hopped onto the counter, immediately digging in. It was so good, you thought you were going to cry, but you were definitely crying on the inside from how amazing it was, finding that you couldn't stop. You continued to eat all the meat on the plate until it was gone, only then realizing that you ate someone's meal, not only that but it was still warm, meaning they were probably nearby and would get super mad.
