The sun was shining brightly, lighting up the whole room. I sat up.
Then I realized it. I looked at the clock and saw it is 7:40.
"Frick!" I searched for my phone and when I found it, I charged it and rushed inside the bathroom.
I wash myself and dressed up quickly. I ran downstairs and prepared a juice. A honk of a car echoed from the outside. They are here. I snatched three breads and get my juice. I close the door and locked it. I entered the car and Chloe start driving.
"Good morning!" Jessie greeted.
"Overslept?" Chloe asked.
"Yes. I watched until midnight." I said and get my comb in my bag.
"Okay. We are going to the villa at the second week of the semester break and were gonna spend the whole week there." Chloe cheerfully said.
Yesterday, they persuade me by telling me something that caught my attention and that is camping at the forest near the villa. I love camping. Since I don't have a chance to go camping, I took the opportunity.
"Okay." I put the comb in my bag and put on some perfume.
"You have first week and third week to do your student council meeting, Isabella. Will that be enough?" Jessie asked.
"Yeah." I opened the bread and took a bite. Jessie was looking at me or my food.
"You want some?" I asked and Jessie shyly nodded her head. I grabbed another one from my bag and gave it to her. I gave Chloe too. They said thank you and ate the bread.
"By the way, did Nate call you?" Chloe asked.
"Nate? No, he didn't call me. How is he?"
"He said his fine and his helping in a clinic."
"Really, that's good."
"He told me something."
"What is it?"
"He wants to talk to you."
"I wonder what it is about."
When we arrived at the school, we went straight to our classes. Mr. Smith entered the room and started discussing the upcoming projects. By fifth subject, I was called by Lily. I excused myself and walked outside the room.
"Lily, what's wrong?" I asked when I got out of the room.
"After school, there is a SC meeting." Lily said and looked something in her bag.
"Okay, I'll be there." I took a glanced at the room and saw that Mrs. Bolton was giving some papers.
"Better be and here." She gave me keys.
"What's this?" I asked looking at the keys.
"Those were the keys that you asked for."
"Oh. Thanks. Did Mr. Crawford question you why I asked for the keys?"
"No, he didn't. But he told me it is okay, because he knew he can trust you."
"Okay. By the way aren't you supposed to be in class?"
"I skipped math."
"Really?"
"This is the second time I skipped class."
"Why, the subject math?"
"Because, I forgot to bring my book and we have an assignment." She said shyly.
"Well, don't forget to bring it tomorrow."
"Yes, ma'am!" She stood up straight and saluted. I just smiled and she left. I entered the room and saw that Mrs. Bolton was giving the projects that we already passed.
By lunch, I waited for Jessie and Chloe. I saw them walking together. They waved at me, when they saw me. When we got to the cafeteria, no more girls were piled up on the table, like the last time. I looked at the table and saw five boys and five girls, talking to each other. One boy caught my eye he wasn't talking, just playing with his food. The boy looked up and I recognized him. He's the boy that I bumped. He looked up when he saw me he smiled. I smiled back and turned my head. Jessie and Chloe ordered first and I was last. I pay for my food and looked at my friends I saw them sitting in one of the table. The old lady gave me my changed and I put it in my bag. I grabbed my tray and when I turned around I gasped. I looked up to see the boy from before.
"Hey." he greeted.
"Hi." I greeted backed.
"You're the girl from yesterday, right?" he recognized me.
"Yeah. Sorry for bumping you." I glanced at my friends, to see them looking at us and the other girls in the cafeteria.
"It's fine. I'm the one who needs to apologize, I was looking at my phone." he smiled and looked around. "What's your name?" he asked.
"Isabella. Isabella Rodriguez." I said.
"Daniel Ashford." he looked around and noticed the students looking at the both of us. "I guess we're gaining some attentions."
"Yes."
"Well, I guess I'll be going now."
"Nice meeting you, Daniel." I smiled.
"Nice meeting you too, Isabella." he wave and went to his table. His friends looked at me and talked to Daniel.
I walked towards the table where Jessie and Chloe were sitting. I smiled, when Daniel looked at me, as I passed there table.
I sit on the chair and looked at my friend. They were grinning. I looked around and saw some students still looking at me. My face suddenly heats, because of the attention. Chloe saw my face and smiled.
"Bella, do you wanna eat on the garden?" Chloe asked.
"I think that's a good idea." I grabbed my food and we head to the garden.
The garden we were talking about is at the back of school. It is owned by the nun in the school. She lets us come here, every time we need it. Even though, she isn't attending the school anymore. She came here every weekend to visit the garden. As we sat on the chairs, I looked around and it never failed me to be amazed, because of the scenery.
"Talk." Chloe said and bite some of her salad.
"His name is Daniel Ashford and that's it."
"Really?"
"Yes. Can we eat in peace now? I really am hungry." I said.
"Okay. Okay. Daniel Ashford and that's it. You can eat in peace now." Chloe and Jessie laughed. I just shook my head and eat my sandwich.
After lunch, the day goes the way it is. A lot of homework we're given to us. By the end of the day, I was walking towards the Student Council Office. I opened the door and saw the other officers waiting in their seats.
"Hi." I greeted and they all greeted me back. We waited patiently inside the room. We talked about funny things and we laughed. Mike was telling a joke, when the door suddenly opened. The Principal stepped in and behind him is the president.
"Long time no see." He smiled and looked at me.
"Hi, Isabella." he said.
