"This is a weird sight to see again."
"What, you don't like it?" Stone rolls over on the mattress to face me.
He's wearing nothing but a smile and his briefs with those piercing eyes staring straight through to my soul. No, we didn't do any dirty deeds, instead we rekindled our interest in each other in a more wholesome way through snuggles and smooches.
"No no no, don't get me wrong, I love it. It's just odd." A big yawn interrupts my tired ramblings. I've come to the conclusion that no amount of sleep will cure me of my constant exhaustion. But boy, do I love waking up to my boyfriend again.
"If you thought I was ugly looking, you could've just said that. I can handle brutal honesty." He scoffs, rolling back to face the wall like earlier. Stone and ugly are two words that would never be used in a sentence together unless it was "Stone is NOT ugly".
He's ought to be kidding if the thinks that I would ever be disgusted in that defined jawline and his pretty long brunette waves. There are so many other breathtaking qualities to him to list, but I'm focusing on the ones I can see from this vantage point.
"But that would be the exact opposite of what I would say, you're a sight for sore eyes." With those words he rolls back over again and his eyes make their return staring into mine, typical goofy grin plastered all over his facial features.
A warm palm reaches for and slowly rubs up and down the back of my tricep. His movements are so soothing that I can fall back asleep to the soft caressing. Once he gets tired of it, he pulls me into his arms to press my nose straight to one of his pecs.
"Your eyes are sore? You should totally get that checked out," I can feel his chest rattling with laughter as my face is smooshed up against it. "I'm just kidding. You look rather ravishing this morning, well you always do hot stuff." His hand wanders south under the covers to pinch my butt with those nimble fingers of his.
"Ouch!" I jump back and hit his bare chest poking out from the covers out of pure defensive instinct. He rolls out of bed to keep himself out of harm's way from any more beatings, pulling the sheets off my body with it. Both my heat sources are taken away, exposing the cold of the room to my half naked body.
"Why are you doing this to me!?" I sandwich my face between two pillows as some sort of coping mechanism.
"It's time to get up sleepyhead, it's already noon." A pillow comes flying my way and softly smacks me in the back.
"It's too late to get up now, we might as well stay here until tomorrow morning and start with a fresh clean slate." I mumble through the cushion I kept plastered to my skin.
"Come on dear, I'll make you some coffee. Don't make me pull out the big guns." I know exactly what he's referring to: those damn signature puppy dog eyes he has a talent for conveying. He'll pull them out on occasions where he really wants something, usually when he wants me to stop sinking into the bed and calling it a day.
"Well, I wouldn't be able to see them anyway-" He rips the pillow over my eyes and the light shines down and temporarily blinds me. Caught hissing like a vampire being attacked by the sun hitting my face all at once with nothing to grab on to and cover my figure, I decide it's time to give up the fight and listen to Stone for once.
"Fine, you win this time Gossard." Once victorious, Stone hurries over to the other side to help pry me out of bed. He reaches down a toned arm to lift my dead weight up, I put zero effort into helping the poor guy struggling to get me up from the mattress.
His assistance places me steady on two feet, still missing almost any coverage for the most intimate parts of my body, but he is respectful enough to not use that as an excuse to grope his lady. I turn to my closest to find the first oversized hoodie that I can see and throw it on for warmth and comfort.
