"Trick question; I'm intersex" Allison laughed going over to a chair propped up against the wall
" ... whats that"
"I have both male and female reproductive parts, I'm a shapeshifter so I can change that at will. So technically I'm both." They answered,
"Lucky, you get to be both... I used to hate how they'd treat both genders differently! I wish i was just neither sometimes-" Elixir started to explain,
"Yeah, until you realize that if I happen to have my female reproductive system at the wrong time, I gotta deal with a period and cramps for that week. Sucks."
"oH RIGHT... OUCH!"
"So I have to figure that stuff out before it happens so I can shift,"
"Cant you like track that shit???? um" Elixir asked,
"You think I have time for that?"
"I dont know anything about that stuf-"
"I have a lot on my hands, I can't just find the time to add in period tracking too" Allison said,
"I could try.. um... im a guy, so- I dont know how to exactly. If blood came out of my parts every month I'd be scared."
"Yeah cause you're a guy, I can't even shift while it happening either, it gets weird" They rolled their eyes,
"o H- And it'd be also painful to do so"
"Extremely painful, now you're getting the hang of this. You learn pretty quickly, took Veneno a while to figure this stuff out."
"Huh- Really?? But i dont even have "those" parts dude-"
"Yeah well, technically I also have the same "parts" as you." Allison answered,
"Augh!! Why is gender so confusing-"
"You get it eventually. I'm just a special case. Though since I can shift, I can also shift how I look. That includes small things like eye colour or big things like changing into another person"
"So depending at how you feel whoever likes you goes from being gay to maybe to not?" Elixir asked,
"Yep, so, you feeling up to the task? Of being fruity?" they'd stand up, shifting their height to be taller than Elixr
"Fruit??? .... uh, this is a bit menaci-"
"Sorry, force of habit," Allison shifted to be slightly shorter "that better?"
"Oh no either is fine itsIm not used to the shifting thing..!!!!!!" Elixir explained quickly,
"That's okay, but if you're gonna be my assistant, you're gonna see it a lot"
"Yeaaaaa...
Oh yeah keep garlic away from me, im alergic to garlic"
"I guessed that, I don't usually keep it in my sleeping quarter anyways. Hey, if I try hard enough, I could become an exact copy of you, minus the personality and clothes" Allison laughed,
"Ha!! HAHAHAH!! Good luck perfecting MY personality! next thing you know im hydrodipping a nugget"
"We could do that, y'know. I'll get you officially registered under my name so you have access to that room in case you have that urge while I'm unavailable" Allison said, writing something in their notepad.
"oh my god i can do the mad scientist stuff now i can now make an un-toaster" Elixir jumped in excitement,
"Yeah you could, we have everything for that, If we can go multidimensional then we can make an un-toaster"
"OH MY GOD" (allison no you're gonna make him explode/j)
"Do you wanna see the sleeping quarters they give us?" Allison asked, looking up from their notes.
"Y E S"
"Got it," Allison quickly took another edible before pulling out a keycard "we can leave Aurora here, I've got her sedated." they'd open the door and walk out
"Bye bye robot throat lady!" WALKS OUT WITH EM EEHHKUWSHKFHKSG he might as well be vibrating from excitement
Allison moved back to the stairwell, they'd start to notice the small blood stains on the stairwell while waiting for Elixir to walk in
Elixir slid down the railing, following Allison
"Ha, I like you, you're fun." they'd shift slightly to gain parachute type wings and jumped down the middle of the stairwell, gliding to the 2nd floor
"WH- HEY—" Elixir fell down the fucking stairs, dont worry tho he'll be okay.
"Perks of being a shapeshifter, I get creative." they'd shift back, wincing again
"I mightve gotten a few bruises b. U T I GOT DOWN FASTERERRRRRR" Elixir bragged loudly,
"You need a bandage?"
"Nope! Free food eheheheejejdkd"
"If you say so," Allison opened the door to the quiet hallway and walked down it a bit until they reached a numbered door with a name plate,
"I was lucky that 15 died a few months before I joined. Now I don't have to go to another building" They laughed,
"15?? Like- numbers of people..??!!?!!" Elixir asked concerned,
"It's just the room numbers,"
"Ohh! Okay! You worried me there for a moment"
"We aren't numbered don't worry. The higher ups are too stupid to do that" Allison explained,
"Hehe! They soujd pretty badddd" Elixir Yawned "Do you seriously stay here ALL DAY?"
Allison pressed their keycard against a scanner at the door, it flashed green and beeped, unlocking the door
"I could if I wanted to," they'd opened the door and walked in, holding it for Elixir when they were in
"Welcome to my home," Allison hung their keys up on a hook and took off their shoes,
"Oooh!! Ohhh- This looks so cool!I never, like, have been inside one of these! Woaaaaaa..." Elixir looked around bewildered, "This is the biggest house ive ever been in!"
"It's the only house I've been in, only other places I slept was outside the club I worked at. Bed is pretty large and comfortable here"
"It does look comfortable!"
"I don't usually make myself much, the organization supplies us with food" Allison explained again, they looked toward their kitchenette.
"I know how to cook out of small things!"
"I never learned, always ordered takeout,"
"Imma bit self taught yknoww??" Elixir smiled,
"well you should teach me sometime,"
"I used to like, sometimes take care of this little kid roaming around by themselves, Oh for sure!"
"Sweet, well, do you wanna see the bedroom? Since you're obviously gonna be staying here for a while" Allison smirked to themselves,
"I can sleep on the floor, but, sure?"
"The bed's a Queen, you sure you wanna miss out on it? It's pretty comfy"
