Chongyun
Chongyun and Xingqiu had been planning a sleepover for the longest time. So when the day finally arrived you can imagine how overjoyed they both felt. Deciding on a movie marathon before bed they ran to one of their favorite convenience stores. Favorite because of the snack options? No. Favorite because you worked there. Chongyun and Xingqiu were normal in the convenience store, so you recognized them whenever they came.
"Ugh, movie night and we get to see (M/N). Haha, score!" Xingqiu yelled
"Shhhhh! Xingqiu keep your voice down or he'll hear us." Chongyun stressed.
"Oh come on you have to admit he's a looker. How do you even come out like that?"
"I don't know either. He such an angel.."
"Right?!" While Chongyun and Xingqiu continued to pack loads of snacks and ice pops into the basket they also chatted about you. Ever since you arrived the store had gotten more popular. People were constantly coming to buy things just to talk to you or get your number. It's not a surprise you got employee of the month every month. You would think the other employees would be jealous, but they can't be. You're just too likable to hate. After picking out all their items Chongyun and Xingqiu headed to the front registers.
"(M/N)~) Xingqiu sang when they turned into your register lane. Looking up you were met with the two boys and gave them one of your signature smiles.
"Hey, guys! Having that movie night finally?" you asked, turning away from your phone.
"Mhmm! And get this!" While you and Xingqiu were chatting up a storm, Chongyun couldn't keep his eyes off you. You were so Handsome, your eyes, your hair, your skin, your lips. Anyone would be lucky to go on a date with you let alone be your partner. "Hello, earth to Chongyun." Xingqiu waved his hand in front of his face. "Oh! Sorry, just spaced out for a second." Feeling embarrassed Chongyun scratched the back of his head. He really hoped you didn't notice him staring. Loading the items onto the conveyor belt you started to scan, resuming your chat with Xingqiu. You and Xingqiu seemed so close, even if they had both known you for the same amount of time. Chongyun started to wonder if you favored Xingqiu over him more.
Xingqiu had always had an easier time making friends. He had always been a social butterfly. All of Chongyun's friends had been made through him anyways. It wouldn't come much of a surprise if you two started dating out of the blue. Your personalities meshed together so well, they complimented.
"Chongyun you sure you're ok?" Looking up he was met with the concerned face of Xingqiu and you. Sighing he just passed it off as being tired. Xingqiu seemed to buy it however you were weary before continuing to talk with Xingqiu. When all the items had finally been bought and accounted for Chongyun and Xingqiu made their way out. Waving goodbye they started up another conversation before being interrupted.
"You forgot your receipt Chongyun." Woah, you were addressing him so directly. Chongyun opened his mouth to speak only to close it again and walk over. Grabbing the receipt from your hand he felt your brush his. Snapping his hand back he quickly thanked you before dragging Xingqiu out of the store.
Finally arriving home Xingqiu was tasked with finding a movie to start the marathon while Chongyun put all the snacks into bowls. Remembering the receipt he stuffed into his pocket he went to throw it away before seeing what looked like messy handwriting at the bottom. Drawing it closer he could read 'To Cho' and then a number...oh my god! Letting out a shriek Chongyun's hand clasped over his mouth. Loud footsteps could be heard making their way down the stairs.
"What's wrong?! Are you ok?! Did you cut yourself?!" Xingqiu asked while rushing over. Without a word, Chongyun handed him the piece of paper with a furious blush on his face. Upon looking closer Xingqiu finally realized your handwriting at the bottom, a smile growing on his face. "Ooo~ Someone gave you their number~" Xingqiu teased.
"Shut up!" Chonyun squeaked blush darkening. Maybe he wasn't all that hopeless. Even if he was extremely shy around new people. You clearly saw something in him, it make him happy.
