Ch 4

(Angus's Pov)

The whole night I spend it tossing and turning unable to sleep because of the cold lonely feeling I have in my body. Once the sun starts to rise I get up and slip out of my new room heading for the kitchen and start digging out things to make for breakfast. As I'm cooking I hear a door opening and footsteps approaching the kitchen my nose wrinkling when I smell a scent other than Yanan's. I turn my head when the man who Yanan told me is named Changgu enters the kitchen he freezing in place and seems to rub his eyes before giving me a cautious look. "Who the hell are you and why are you in my kitchen?" I quickly plate the food before turning the stove off and turn to him. "I'm your new roommate. My names Angus." He stares at me in disbelief. "You're crazy we don't have a new roommate." I cross my arms over my chest. "Well you do now." His eyes narrow and next thing I know he's chasing me I quickly dodging around the counter and run towards Yanan's room I slamming into him when I reach the hallway. "Help!" I quickly hide behind him clinging onto his shirt and peek around at Changgu he stopping and giving me a look. "What's going on?" I hear the obvious confusion in Yanan's voice Changgu looking at him with a frown. "I woke up to this random guy in our kitchen and he claims to be our new roommate." Yanan blinks before letting out a sigh. "He is our new roommate. Remember the cat I took in? This is him. He's a hybrid." Changgu stares in disbelief. "And you're just letting a random stranger live with us?" I see Yanan frown a little. "He has no where else to go so yes. And besides I trust him." I smile then stick my tongue out at Changgu childishly he glaring at me. I then peek up at Yanan with a smile. "I made breakfast." He smiles down at me my stomach feeling all fluttery. "See he even made us breakfast." I nod and look over at Changgu cautiously. "Can I give you guys your food?" Changgu sighs giving a reluctant "sure." I smile and reluctantly move away from Yanan and lead them to the kitchen where I set the plates on the table. I silently take a seat beside Yanan I starting to eat happily and watch as Yanan takes a bite his eyes widening a little. "Wow this is really good." I smile in accomplishment and watch as Changgu hesitantly takes a bite his eyes widening slightly before he pretends to look indifferent. "It's okay." I roll my eyes but continue eating and once we're all finished I take up our plates putting them in the sink. "Alright you guys should probably start getting ready." Yanan nods in agreement and gets up but Changgu gives me a wary look. "Wait you're seriously not gonna let him stay here by himself all day are you Yanan?" I roll my eyes in annoyance. "What exactly am I gonna do?" He gives me a look. "You could steal everything we have for one." I immediately give him a dirty look. "I would never do that!" He rolls his eyes at me. "Right because you're so trust worthy. You purposefully hid the fact that you were human and ate all of our snacks." I raise an eyebrow at him and say mockingly. "Oh poor baby." He glares at me and Yanan suddenly pushes us apart since we've gotten in fighting stances. "That's enough you two. Angus learn to be nice to Changgu he's my friend, group mate and brother. And Changgu leave Angus alone and stop patronizing him. He's a good person and deserves kindness." We both give each other looks before I sigh holding my hand out. "Truce?" He reluctantly takes my hand shaking it with a grumble. "Truce." Yanan smiles at us happily it making butterflies appear in my belly and he quickly excuses himself to go get ready to leave he telling Changgu to do the same thing. I head over to the couch and curl up on it and put on a tv show before falling asleep not noticing Yanan drape a soft warm blanket over me.
