Percy Jackson watched as his friends debated their loyalties, their pasts, and their uncertain futures. But one person stood out from the rest: Ace, the son of Apollo.

Unlike the others, Ace seemed lost and confused. He didn't know which side to choose or what he believed in. And Percy could see the fear and uncertainty in the boy's eyes.

As the discussion continued, Ace suddenly spoke up. "I...I don't know what to do," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "But I think I'm going to choose Luke. He was always kind to me, and I don't want to disappoint him."Percy frowned, his heart heavy with concern. He knew that Luke's charisma and charm could be persuasive, especially to young and impressionable demigods like Ace. But he also knew that choosing Luke could lead to disaster.

"Ace, you can't just choose Luke because he was nice to you," Percy said gently. "This is a serious decision, and it will have consequences for everyone involved. You need to think carefully about what you're doing."

Ace shook his head, tears in his eyes. "I don't know what to do," he repeated. "I just want to make the right choice."Bakugou Katsuki, who had been listening quietly, stepped forward. "Ace, listen to me," he said firmly. "Choosing Luke might seem like the easy way out, but it's not the right choice. We can't let our personal feelings blind us to the bigger picture."

Ace looked up at Bakugou, his eyes wide with uncertainty. "But what if I'm wrong?" he said. "What if I make things worse?"

Percy put a reassuring hand on Ace's shoulder. "It's okay to be scared, Ace. We all are. But we have to face our fears and make a choice based on what we believe in. And we believe in the gods, and in each other."Ace looked from Percy to Bakugou and back again, his expression pensive. He knew that he had a lot to think about, a lot to consider. But he also knew that he didn't want to make the wrong choice.

As the group continued to talk and debate, Ace sat silently, lost in thought. Memories of his past with Luke flooded his mind, and he couldn't help but feel conflicted. But he also knew that he didn't want to betray his friends or his beliefs.

In the end, Ace made the choice that he knew was right. He chose the gods, and his friends, over Luke. And even though it was a difficult decision, he knew that it was the best one.

Percy smiled at Ace, proud of his friend for making such a brave choice. "You did the right thing, Ace," he said, clapping the boy on the back. "We're all proud of you."Ace smiled back at Percy, relief washing over him. He knew that there were still challenges ahead, still memories that haunted him. But he also knew that he had made the right choice, and that he had the support of his friends.

And as they all walked away from the meeting, together, Percy couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. They had all faced their pasts, their fears, their memories. But they had also come out stronger, more united, and ready to face whatever came next.
