The next day arrives as I wake up feeling the absolute worst I've ever felt in my entire life as I head to the bathroom to shower shortly after I finish showering I head back into my bedroom to get dressed. Once I finish getting dressed I head downstairs "hey, you ready to go?" Ian asked me as I walked up to them "yeah." I mumbled as we headed outside hopping in the car and heading towards the hospital.

Shortly after arriving we hop out of the car and head inside "alright Ms Gallagher-Milkovich how are we feeling this morning?" The doctor asked me as she took a seat next to me "not so good." I muttered looking down at my hands "well, what seems to be the problem?" She asked out loud "she's been acting out these past couple of days." Mickey said as he reached down to hold my hand "acting out how?" The doctor asked "well she's been having these moments where she's really happy and super excited...and just yesterday she went awol without telling anyone." Ian said nervously.
"Then today she's really down and we have an idea of what it might be, but we want to know what you think." Mickey replied "well it sounds to me like she's showing signs of bipolar disorder." The doctor said looking up at us "that's what we were thinking as well." Ian replied "does bipolar run in the family?" She asked "uh, yes." Mickey said "with who?" She questioned "me and my mother was bipolar." Ian replied "well, we will keep her here under 24 hour psychological evaluation and see how she does then we'll go from there. The doctor said "okay, thank you doctor." Mickey said nodding.
"Hey princess." Ian said as he kissed the top of my head "hi." I muttered fidgeting with the IV in my wrist "listen monkey your gonna stay here for the night then we'll come get you in the morning, alright." Mickey said with a crack in his voice "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry I never meant for any of this to happen." I whimpered with tears streaming down my face "oh, Emi it's okay it's not your fault, but we'll be back to get you tomorrow, okay." Ian said kissing me on the top of my head as I nodded "we love you rug rat." Mickey said kissing my temple "I love you too guys." I mumbled as I watched them walk out.

Later on during the night I woke up feeling this sense of panic and fear run throughout my body as I sat up in my hospital bed yelling and screaming "no! No! Please don't let them take me!" I yelled as the doctors and nurses ran into my room with an injection as they stuck it into my arm making this wave of relaxation run throughout my body as I laidback down falling asleep.
"Mr. Gallagher and Mr. Milkovich." The doctor said "yes ma'am." Ian said as they stood up and walked towards the back to Emi's hospital room "with everything me and the other nurses saw from your daughter last night. I believe we have a diagnosis for you." The doctor said "what's the diagnosis?" Mickey asked "bipolar." The doctor replied "oh god." Ian muttered "she was experiencing a state of mania last night, so we did have to sedate her but she is awake and aware just a tad bit drowsy and we prescribed her some medication an antipsychotic, antidepressant and a mood stabilizer." The doctor replied.
"Can we take her home?" Mickey asked her "yes you may just make sure she takes her pills everyday with food and no caffeine or alcohol." The doctor said as we walked into the room to see our daughter awake and dressed ready to go home "hey munchkin, you ready to go?" Ian asked "mm-hmm." I mumbled standing up as the three of us walked out of the hospital and got in the car as we headed home.
