Raindrops

I know it's over and it is true.

I know my love for you is gone.

There were no tears and I don't know why.

I guess today it rained for me to cry.

It fell and fell like there's no end,

The raindrops fell unto my face,

What feelings there are for you and I,

What lost empathized by heaven's cries.

Let me just say on this rainy day,

I'll never forget you in my heart.

You'll be here always forever kept,

Forever kept but always locked.

In time, this rain will fall on my smiling face,

As I've forgotten, the salt in my eyes.

And I smile as I watch the rain,

With no remembrance of a cry.

Goodbye, Goodbye I've forgotten you,

I'm watching the rain go by.

And as it stops I'm walking on this road,

Now I'm happy with the sun.
