FUTURE OF ZEN

THE INVITATION

Zen turned around and Saw the king standing right behind him, Seeing him there Zen was shocked as he stood right away and Was about to say something but the king Putting a finger on his own mouth told him to keep silent and follow him.

Zen was nervous as King might be taking him to scold for what he did, he followed King to the special corner which was reserved for the king where Shin was present too.

King called him inside as he sat on his seat and asked Zen to shit with him, Zen aske if it was fine for him to sit with him.

Shin got up and said

' Its fine, just do as what he says. '

Zen sat along Marcus and Then Marcus AskEd Zen

'  So what's your name? '

Zen was a little confused, He thought the king knew who he was but him asking his name was a little weird but he had to answer so he told him his name.

Marcus asked Zen why he jumped to save The participant, Zen replied that it was her Teacher which was the reason he jumped in.

Marcus said after this

' You did well saving your Teacher and more importantly, you were able to beat Argon quite easily.

I mean, he was already exhausted and beat up but still.

I have never seen someone handle him like that easily before the two past tournaments, you are good.

Would you like to join the ranks of ghastle someday? '

Shin after seeing king Ask him that felt a little strange as he had never asked anyone directly like that and not knowing he was Linda's brother.

Zen felt a little uncomfortable as he had been questioned a same question by Rey just before this so he had the same reply

' I am not sure about that yet, i do wanna do something for the nation or in particular against the demons but the thing is i don't see a direct way to accomplish it. '

King after seeing his face realised he was a little confused and King wanted him to join the ranks as he will become a great warrior so he asked him something

' Zen! I would like you to accompany us along to doorknob for the tournament, A full sight of what happens there at the tournament might change your opinion about the way you think about this and you might be able to find your way. '

Shin was surprised after hearing that, he realised one thing that Zen doesn't need his sisters name to get recognised.

He have been making his own impact for a while now and now he has been even recognised by King himself, Shin seeing this was impressed.

Zen hearing King proposal realised he had been given a great opportunity to see the demons strength first hand and the strength of member of swords first hand, Venda also told him to accept his proposal as not many people get an opportunity like this.

Zen stood up and bowing his head slightly down toward the king he said

' its my honour to accompany the great King and the members of the seven swords to the doorknob for the tournament. '

King told him to raise his head and told him that he was looking forward to the day.

Zen took his leave afterwards and King asked Shin what he thinks of Zen, To which Shin replied

' He is talented but i am not sure how even that is possible, he didn't had a gear like her mother but now he has accomplished so much that not many can do with his power.
