The Sinnoh region holds many tales about the great and beautiful Cynthia, the reigning Champion. She was renowned for being a Dragon Master, and her Dragon-type Pokemon were enough to bring others to their knees. This Champion was known as the great...
After the meeting with Professor Cerise, we decided to check out the rooms, going into the hallway that connected the lab and the house. We stopped at two doors and opened them, wanting to get to know our new rooms.
It was plain, but it was sort of homey. It had a bed near the window, a desk with a lamp, a nightstand, and a cabinet for my clothes. It was all fine to me, a room is a room.
Sighing happily, I dropped on the bed, with Eevee lying next to me.
"Much more comfortable than Pokemon Center bunk beds," I muttered.
"Vori!" Eevee agreed. I smiled and patted her on the head, then I stood up again and set my things down, making sure that the egg was carefully tucked in my backpack so that it remained nice and warm. When I was satisfied about its safety, I had Eevee hop on my shoulder again.
"We're going to earn our next Gym Badge, so be prepared," I told Eevee.
"Vee!" she grinned, excited for another battle.
"Yeah, yeah," I smiled slightly, "save that energy for the battle, though."
"Eevee," she smiled sheepishly.
I walked out the room as soon as Trinity walked out hers.
"Ready?" she said.
"Yeah, let's go," I replied.
We were about to head out, when we heard something saying, "Vee?"
I looked at Eevee, who was just as confused as I was. We looked at down and saw... another Eevee.
It was female, like my Eevee—I could tell due to the flower-like pattern on her tail. She wore a pink flower on her head, like my Kirlia. She looked at my Eevee curiously, who jumped off in excitement.
"Vee!" they said at once and began to have a conversation, eager to speak with another of their species.
"Whose Eevee is this?" I said, one eyebrow raised in curiosity.
"Dunno," Trinity said with a gleam in her eyes as she watched both Eevee play with each other, both squealing with excitement.
I couldn't help but smile, it was pretty cute. "Professor Cerise has a daughter, right? It's probably hers."
"Could be," Trinity shrugged and put her attention back to both Eevee.
"Dad! Have you seen Eevee?" I heard a feminine voice call out from across the hall. She turned a corner and spotted us, looking curious.
She looked about our age and had long maroon hair fashioned with a pink flower like her Eevee, green eyes, and had a delicate and beautiful face.

"Who are you two?" she asked. "Are you guys my dad's new research assistants?"
"We are," Trinity said with a smile. "I'm Trinity, a Pokemon Trainer."
Chloe's curious but cautious face slowly spread with an easy smile. "Oh, that explains it. I'm Chloe, nice to meet you two." Chloe gave me a once over and frowned. "You look familiar."
"The name's Vali," I said nonchalantly, motioning to Eevee. "And this is my partner Eevee."
Chloe looked at me and Eevee incredulously, then she settled her gaze back at me and glared. "It's you! You're that asshole that's all over social media who has harassed and blackmailed multiple girls! You're that delinquent who has hospitalized hundreds of people! What the hell are you doing here?! Why did my dad allow you to become a research assistant?!"
I rolled my eyes. "Ah shit, here we go again."
Chloe gave Trinity a wide-eyed look, as if realizing something. "You're one of those girls, right? He's blackmailing you!"
Trinity looked at Chloe awkwardly. "No, he never did anything like that. Listen, the guy blaming him for that is my brother. He hates Vali and wants to ruin his life."
Chloe gasped and glared at me. "So you blackmailed that guy's sister?" she shook her head furiously. "How can an Eevee be her partner?" she turned to Eevee and said soothingly, "You have to get away from him. He's only using you."
My Eevee gave Chloe's Eevee a sad look and then growled at Chloe. I smirked.
"There's your answer."
"Chloe, stop," Trinity said, being the voice of reason. "He isn't who you think he is."
"Then why is it everywhere?" Chloe asked. "The entire world agrees! He's nothing but trouble, I don't know why you're traveling with him."
"Yamp! Yamp!" a Pokemon ran at us and began to bark at me.

I recognized it as a Yamper. It was yellow, brown, and dog-like. It barked at me with hate-filled eyes. Then it leapt at me and tried to bit me.
"Vee!" Eevee came to my rescue and smacked it with her tail so hard that it literally was thrown out the window, breaking it.
Trinity and Chloe gasped. Eevee looked around innocently.
I was trying not to laugh, smiling sheepishly. "God, I fucking love you Eevee," I snickered.
