-CASSANDRA'S POV- "Shit Damon I'm not about to lose you too! Fuck" I shouted "I need you to promise me to look after those little sheep for me, please Cassidy" he begged "No! No, you'll do that when we get you to the hospital" I denied it but tears rolled down my face and I began to cry for the first time in a long time we heard our birth mother "Cassandra! Damon! Wait where's Stefan?" she yelled "Shit, Cassy Bonnie's here" Damon informed "Damon, it's going to be okay" she assured as she pulled the dagger out from his chest she healed him, and he passed out I got up from the ground, and picked him up tossed him over my shoulder and started walking back to the safe boarding house "Seriously Damon what were you thinking? You could have gotten killed if Bonnie wasn't nearby. Shit your our big brother and you act like a teenager big bro" I thought "Cassandra! Shit! What happened?!" Stefan shouts "Our dumbass big brother thought it would be a good idea to fuck around with vampire hunters and some of them nearly almost killed his ass. Take him inside while I'm dealing with the fucking mess he had created." I explained and told him he took Damon off my shoulder after he did I walked away from the house and back into the woods "Cassandra Love Salvatore stop ignoring me! I'm your mother!" Claudia yelled I stopped and turned to face her "Really now you start acting like a mother all of a sudden just because your firstborn and oldest child was nearly killed?! You are not my mother! I was there and I knew it all played out Our Father Didn't give two shits about us he would abuse us emotionally, physically, and mentally and tormented us as well but Katherine pierce showed up one day and she made us feel like we were a human being and not the way our father treated us but it didn't last for a long, he found out that she was a vampire and used both of my brother's love for her as a way to poison her and make her go into a century-long sleep me and my brothers tried to break her out before they sent her away but Damon being Damon almost all of us killed so my father shot all three of us because we were vampires and left us there to die but we woke up inside of Bonnie's ancestor Emily's house she gave me a daytime ring then we continue living as if nothing ever happened whatsoever. That's the saddest thing in the world to witness your own father murdering you and leaving you for dead but Dustin you are lucky to have a mom I never had a mother or a kid, I died when I was 20" I explained "No..no that's can't be..." she trembled "Sorry ma but it was back then dunno about what's going to happen next see you soon mom" I whispered to her before running off in the night "Yea love you too Cassandra" I heard her say to herself I stopped in front of my boarding house and sat down in my chair outside removed my hat off of my head "Now I wonder why I felt a small part of me still loves her throughout everything and yet she still says "I love you" what a fucking joke and sad excuse for a mother" I muttered
