WARNING!!: Violence, Mentions of Gore

I angrily look through the bars of the cell we're in. I grip the bars pretty tightly like I'm trying to break them. I am trying to, but it's really hard. I try punching it, but it's no good. My arm hurts, which is weird. I shouldn't feel pain when I do stuff with it. It could be the sensation hitting my nerves, but I don't want to keep trying to break the bars. I let go and sit down in frustration. Emma was sitting on the bed, lucky, with the pillow on her head.

"Pony, we owe you an apology," Giraffy says, breaking the silence.

Pony looks up at him. "What for?" He asks.

"We shouldn't have met with the group. You were right to be suspicious. we're sorry." Mimi says.

"It's fine, I guess," Pony said. What does that even mean? Do you accept it or not?

"It's Willow's fault anyways. What did she expect? She kidnaps one of our friends and expects us to just walk away?" Georgie says. I can feel the anger in his voice.

"It's okay Georgie." Emma replied to him. "it's okay to be mad at her, but being mad isn't going to-"

"Mad?! I'm FURIOUS!" He whispers loudly. "Who does she think she is?! Oh, iM gOiNg tO atTAck InNocEnT pEoPle!"

Emma shakes her head. She's angry too, no doubt. But she's not showing it for a simple reason. It's pointless.

I was wondering how long Willow would keep us here when I heard a weird clank sound. We all looked at the floor and noticed a sewer cover in the cell. Isn't that convenient? What's coming out of it though?

The cover was flown off the floor, and Zee and Zuzy pop out from the hole.

"Hey-o! We need one of you guys to come down here so we can get the cell door open!" Zuzy said. At least they're in good shape.

"You guys made it out safe!" Georgie says. Zee and Zuzy nod.

"Yeah, we watched what happened and followed you guys. But we have to hurry!" Zuzy says.

"I'll go down there," I respond. The others look at me.

"Are you sure?" Pony asks.

"Yeah. It'd be easier for me to break it from the outside." I said. Pony shrugged.

"Okay, go then," Emma says from the bed. she's sitting cross-legged on the bed.

"Oh, right! Emma, here!" Zuzy calls out. Zee pulls a book out of her hoodie jacket and throws it at Emma, who catches it.

"We have more, but if anyone sees you with your phones and stuff, it'll be a problem," Zuzy says. "Now come on already!"

I follow the twins down the ladder. I saw one of the others put the cover back on. I climb all the way down and look around. It's a small room with some shelves. It smells terrible down here.

"So, what do I have to do?" I ask. "Is there an infected down here?"

"Yeah, there is," Zuzy says, and Zee nods with affirmation. "He's kinda tall, and he has these weird glowing orange eyes."

"We need you to open the door that locks the exit," Zuzy explains. "we're not strong enough to do it, and everything we need is locked up."

"Oh, okay." I nod. "take me to the door."

Zee and Zuzy lead me through the halls to the exit door. I don't see any signs of the infected. Maybe he's looking somewhere else.

When we get to the door, I have to applaud them. They managed to unlock everything except a white lock. Nothing I can't handle. I rip the lock off its hinges. I push the now-broken door open and enter the room. It seems not to be a control room for maybe controlling the sewage system. Whoever worked here must have had Febreze on maximum all day, but I don't smell any. It has been a while. The ladder has a big padlock on it, and I can't jump over it. What kind of system is this?
