In the library, a hand full of students were studying, researching, and doing what they needed for class. There in the corner next to a window sat Wat with a clutter of papers surrounding him and a computer in front as he read a book for his class.

"This doesn't make sense." He whispered the class wasn't his best subject like most. But Wat had managed to convince his parents if he succeeds in graduating they would consider other options for college. Providing Wat a rare opportunity to change their mind about majoring in engineering.

Their final year was almost over with just a couple of weeks left. Everything seemed at peace no more protests, horrible uniforms unsuited for the hell-fire weather, or a horrible "curse" to pledge the student's minds. All worries were on college and where to go.

Wat struggled to understand the material in the book there walking toward him was Namo who was carrying more books to help with their assignment. They weren't that surprised when the teacher assigned them to work together since they sat together in class.

"Are you okay?" Namo asked when he saw Wat violently scratch his hair in frustration. He took a seat next to the irritated boy who looked at him with a slight pout.

"Help me?" Wat said in a small voice, he was completely helpless when it came to things like this.

"Well I already am, as your partner."

"I forgot." Wat simply shrugged, and Namo chortled before turning to his book. "Besides what's this project about anyway?"

"A presentation on a philosophic topic that interests us or something like that," Namo explained.

"Why? That's so not like this school."

"I don't know I think it's part of the new changes they're making plus it's our final year so let's not make it so stressful." Namo turned back to the book he was about the start reading.

"I guess you're right.

It was silent after that.

Awkward uncomfortable silence. The two didn't hang out as much as others would assume because they were the only singles in their newly formed friend group. They would be left alone while the others hung out with their significant others. Something had happened but neither of them why it became so weird between them.

"What about this?" Wat asked Namo looked up in a confused manner. "Cartesian dualism, basically mind and body stuff; argues that there are two kinds of foundation mental and physical. It questions what is the relationship between mind and body."

"Wow deep," Namo joked. Wat rolled his eyes but they both knew he was joking.

"Ha ha ha," He said sarcastically, "But it is, it talks about how the body including the brain is composed of extended and divided substance, whereas the mind is not.

"Okay, I'm not gonna lie that was pretty good," Namo told Wat who looked at him smugly, he wasn't gonna let that go. "But we should find some more so that you know, we can have opinions."

"Alright," Wat replied.

"I have one I found already it's one of my favorites." He scrolled through his phone searching for his idea to offer Wat as something more to research. "Here it is."

"Shoot."

They turned to one another their eyes locked for a second before Namo quickly turned to his phone. Namo become red in the face, and a rosy color took over making it impossible to not notice but Wat pretended he didn't see.

"Uh, there's Bell hooks her philosophy, to sum up, love is a combination of things that allow it to be simple. She said and I quote living simply makes loving simple. I mean personally think love is complex and complicated that it can't just be put into words."
