•Chapter 9•

It was now the next day and first day of recuperation in the wisteria house. Tanjiro had properly introduced you to Nezuko who took a liking to you. Well, seeing you too we're the only girls in the group that's what you thought.

"Annie, it's time for lunch." Tanjiro's voice interrupted your quiet time as you sat outside on the patio. You told him you'd be out here because you wanted to get away from Zenitsu and Inosuke because of how loud they are.

You turn to look at him and nod, getting up and walking inside and you saw Inosuke who was already eating and Zenitsu.

Tanjiro sat down and watched as you sat down in front on Inosuke. You all started eating when you felt a heavy weight on your shoulder, you turn your head to the side and see Nezuko resting her head on your right shoulder.

Tanjiro had told you she was a demon but a good one, instead of eating humans she sleeps to get back her energy.

You steer at her blankly making Tanjiro think you were uncomfortable.

"Uhh! Nezuko stop that rude, you're making her uncomfortable!" Tanjiro said but she continues to rest there.

"No, it fine." You said as you ate your rice.

"Are you sure?" He asked, to which you nodded.

"Oh, okay." He said, not really that convenient by your sent.

Even though you looked fine on the outside. Your sent was telling a hole other story, your sent was mixed with different emotions like anger, sadness and surprise. But, there was one that he had never smelt on a person before. He didn't know how to describe it, it was strange and strong.

It didn't smell like the sent of a demon so he was fine but, it didn't smell human either, what was it then.

"Earth to Tanjiro?!" Tanjiro was snapped out of his thoughts when Zenitsu yelled out to him.

"You okay Tanjiro?" You asked.

"Uhh, yeah!"

You silently sat on the floor as Nezuko in her child form drew a picture of you, she had dragged you into the room so she could just do that.

"Hi Annie."

Both you and Nezuko looked up to see Zenitsu who was moving around weirdly with a smile on his face as pocked both his pointer fingers together.

"How are you today?" He asked, letting out a happy laugh.

Nezuko hummed angrily at Zenitsu for having him take away your attention from her.

In the blink of an eye Zenitsu suddenly popped up in front of you. Nezuko huffed, getting up and growing into her normal form before pulling you up and gently pushing you to the other side of the room.

"H- hey! What the hell?!" Zenitsu yelled, coming over to where youse where which made Nezuko push you to a different side of the room again. Which just made Zenitsu follow youse again.

Soon you three were running in a circle in the middle of the room.

"Wait for me! Stop trying to take Annie away!" Zenitsu complained. Tanjiro soon entered the room and got in front of you and Nezuko with his arms out straight making Zenitsu stop chasing youse.

"Zenitsu! Stop following them already." He said, a frown on his face.

"Me stop?! How about you tell your sister to stop hogging Annie!" Zenitsu yelled, pointing at Nezuko from over Tanjiro's shoulder as you stood next to her with a bored face.
