The group of six friends was at peace. As time was gaining to midnight stars danced and twinkled in the sky, the navy blue back round made them stand out. The silver moon shone brightly above them in a crescent shape.

You could hear the occasional bird tweet it's good night to the group of teenagers as they gathered around the crackling fire that was slowing dying and loosing it's light. Although none of the teenagers made a fuss about it as they relaxed in their camping chairs, you could even hear a squeak of the chairs if someone moved ever so slightly.

Some of the teenagers were drifting to sleep where as others were talking quietly about anything that came to their minds.

A pale girl with hazel eyes, whose name was Charlotte, tried to tie her beautiful auburn hair up in braids without knocking one of her friends off of her shoulder. She did it well. Yes, the braids were a bit messy, but they looked perfect to me. I mean, Charlotte always looks perfect to me, even if she doesn't think I'm perfect. But how could someone think I look perfect without even knowing me.

I tried moving a bit to get a better look at her, but I moved too much and accidentally shook the bush I was crouching by.
Charlotte turned around as well as a few of her friends, but luckily, they were distracted by a grey fox scutering by.

The fox looked peaceful. It had a ginger coat, much like Charlotte's hair but lighter, and silver eyes that scanned its surroundings. Then it ran, probably afraid of the group of friends.

I really liked foxes with a ginger coat like the one that just went by because they remind me of Charlotte and she makes me happy, I just wish that she would notice me so I could do the same.
Trust me, I've tried to get her attention, but it never works. All the tines I've tried to impress her and make her notice me it doesn't work. It's like she knows I'm here but doesn't want to acknowledge me. Why? Why can't I just get her attention for once?
