Y/N POV
I was quick on my feet as I dash down the sidewalk. There was urgency in me to reach Lee before the school day started. Early that day I had texted him to have him meet me at the back school entrance. I didn't want anyone to hear our conversation and that back entryway wasn't used often.
When I got closer to the back gate I saw Lee there. He was leaning against the wall wearing his school uniform even though he had no attention on going to school. He pushed his dark dreads out of his face when he notice me coming. I stop abruptly stopping in front of him. My breath was coming out heavy from all the running. I really needed to start working out more but I'll start that tomorrow, maybe.
"Why did you get me up so early Y/n," Lee asked his voice sounding drowsy
"I-i h-had to ask" my words came out in huffs "w-where did the school go for the school trip in the game"
Lee thought about my question for a moment before replying "All of the time I played it was Seoul Korea"
I jumped in excitement pulling Lee into a hug. He was surprised by the action not sure how he was supposed to react.
"What's going on," Lee asked
I let him go stepping away to give him space. He still was giving me a confused expression.
"We voted on where to go last night and everyone decided on Osaka Japan" I exclaimed but Lee still looked confused by my excitement "I change the game so instead of going to Seoul we are going to Osaka. This means the game will have to create a new map. You know what happens when a game gets a new map"
"bugs," Lee said in shock
"and glitches" I added "Which means the game may make a glitch in this new map that could lead to our world"
"It's a long shot," Lee retorted
"but it's the best shot we got to get home. Who knows if the game will end at the end of the school year? It could just restart and will have to play the game over and over again" I had been scared to say this but it had been one of my main fears since entering the game. I could see on Lee's face that he had the same fear.
"Your right," Lee said as he looked me in the eyes; his sad frown turning into a smile "We'll find a way home in Osaka"
"Yes we will" I spoke with hope for the future
Lee was the one to hug me this time and I return it. We both were craving to see our families once more. I had already made a promise to myself that when I return home I would become the best sister and daughter for my family. I was so lost in my thoughts I hadn't realized that Lee and I had been hugging for a while.
"What the hell"
A voice shouted shocking us enough that Lee and I had pulled apart. We turn to see Rengoku stomping towards us. He looked like he wanted to murder Lee so I stepped in front of Lee making it so Rengoku stopped charging forward.
