Matt's Pov in Ashley's father's study
"I'm sorry sir, I didn't get her to listen to me. She's still upset." I told Mr. Scarlet, with my head hung low.
Mr. Scarlet sighed, "She has her mother's spirit alright."
"And your stubbornness, sir," I said, chuckling a little. Mr. Scarlet looked at me, ignoring my comment.
"And that boy she came with?"
"She went home with him, sir," I said looking at him,
"Anything else happened?" He said picking up his glass of whiskey.
"Um..." I hesitated,
"Well spit it out!" he barked,
I pulled out my phone and showed him a photo, "They k-kissed sir."
He took the phone and looked at it. His face turned into a glare. He hit a button on the desk and his maid came in. My jaw dropped, "Y-your-"
She turned to me, "Yes I am Sarah Perez. Ashley's mother."
"Ashley told me you were dead." I stared at her and then at Mr. Scarlet,
"That's what she thinks. She doesn't know." Sarah said. Then she turned to Mr. Scarlet, "What do you need Tony?"
Mr. Scarlet looked at Sarah and showed her the photo, "I need you to find out more about this man."
Sarah looked at the photo, "Dear that's Peter Simon the YouTuber. And Ashley's best friend as a child. The boy of those rich parents I worked for."
Tony's eyes widened, "The Youtuber Ashley's liked since she was 15?"
I nodded and looked at the pair. Tony pulled out his phone and pressed something putting the phone to his ear, I looked at Sarah,
"Who's he calling?"
She looked at me, "you'll see."
Someone picked up and Tony said, "Marshall, My man, how are you." He paused and let the man talk, "mhm. Yes. I have a job for you." He texts the photo of Peter to him, "you know what to do." Tony hung up.
"What's he gonna do?" I asked looking at Tony, Sarah sat down.
"We know enough about him and we can't have Ashley get her memories back. It's fatal to my company. So he's a threat to my daughter. Tomorrow night Marshall is going to assassinate Peter Simons."
