"If one is a linguistics major, wouldn't it be an ingenious idea to be out in the world to learn about culture and languages?" Y/n mumbles angrily behind three towers of books.

"Now, why would the education system want you to learn in an efficient way?" Robin giggles in her hand.

"Why do I need a piece of paper to prove only a certain point in my life?"

"Because that piece of paper gets you approved and looked at as a sophisticated person."

"If I give a middle finger to everyone, I'll get looked at in some way or another." Y/n replies back and flops over the tenth textbook she tries to finish.

Robin smiles at her friend and sprouts a hand from her devil fruit to gently rub the female's back in condolence.

"It's most likely payback that you have to do so much in a week because you've been gone for two weeks worth of school."

"If that asshat of a professor thinks that slamming down two weeks of schoolwork onto me as payback and wants me to remember this for the next exam, I'm drawing a certain part of anatomy back on the test with the correct answers."

Robin shakes her head at her friend's frustration. Mildly amused at her, Robin was at the school's library with Y/n, both having to study for their major but most of their shared table being covered by Y/n's study materials.

Having been her friend for quite some years, Robin was surprised that she was showing so much emotion now. Back when they met each other, she barely even gave out a single sigh of annoyance, much less complained. Robin was happy that she was getting more comfortable with just simply complaining to her and even hanging out in the library in complete silence sometimes.

"I'm guessing Luffy wants you to eat lunch with us?"

"Us? Are you part of Lu's gang?"

"Mhm, I am, I have been since the whole...Enies Passage" Robin suggests, "I suggest that you text Luffy because he's banned from the library."

Y/n looks back up at Robin to see if she was kidding about that statement. Seeing her not flinching and simply smiling into her novel, Y/n slumps back onto the laid textbook and blindly grabs her silenced phone on the side. There were already multiple text messages from three specific people. It was clustered together considering she was in the group chat with the three.

Where are you??????
Do you know where the lunchroom is????
Hey, I'm grabbing lunch soon, do you want meat or soup?
Sabo, she said she's eating lunch with me!
But can't your dear older brother join?
Hey! You guys invited her to lunch without me???
You snooze, you lose, Ace
I'm coming over too!

She only read the messages that showed up on her notifications so she opened up her phone and other messages started to pop up on the screen. She stares at them blankly and just replies back, I'm in the library with Robin, have lots of stuff to study, will go later.

After her reply, several vibrations occurred with crying, angry, and meat emojis all around, ending with Sabo saying, I'm coming over to pick you up.

"I'm guessing Sabo is coming over?"

"Your guess is correct."

Robin smiles when she puts her phone in her pocket. Y/n lets out a sigh of resignation and closes her textbook softly.

"Well, l finished studying two languages so I believe I'm done for the day."

"Shall we head to the lunchroom?" After asking the two ladies, Sabo plops his head on Y/n's right shoulder. Knowing how the boys get rather impatient when it comes to  dear lunch time, the females both expected his arrival sooner.
