Am I the asshole for kicking my sister out of my house after she broke her foot??
I 23 female live in an apartment with my 24 male boyfriend in NYC. My sister "emma" has been living with us for a while because our parents wanted time for them selves.
Recently my sister broke her leg during an ballet practice which led us to help and do whatever she wanted at home.
She got the idea to boss us around the house such as "can you make me food , can you pass the remote , can you massage my leg etc. I am angry at this but won't say anything because it would to pressure on her since she broke her leg.
At work I received a call from emma saying I should come home because it's an emergency. I didn't thing twice and drove home instantly. When I got there I was furious, she had called me because she couldn't go down stairs to get her self a glass of water.
I yelled at her for calling me for something stupid because she hair a wheelchair platform lift on the stairs.
She told me that she didn't know how to use it but I knew she was lying because I hear her using it at night times.
One day when I got home from work late, I walk into the house and saw my sister walking around the house naked thinking that I was david.
This was the last straw I said, you are leaving this house in the morning. Sobbing my sister yelled at me for doing this.
After a week of nonstop calls I finally answered my mother. She was yelling at me for kicking my sister out of the house when she broke her foot. I told her the reason but she said my sister had done nothing wrong and that I was cruel for doing that. I hang up the phone on her.
So the real question is am I the asshole??
