--Eva's POV--

"Damn this place is so cool," I exclaim while looking at all the knickknacks on the wall. Luke talks to the hostess as I take in the environment of the diner the guys always talk about. The closest thing we had to this is New York was a rundown little place that shook as the subway went by. God, I miss that place.

I sit down across from him and he hands me one of the menus stacked on his side, "The fries here are the best fries in town," he says as I look over what seems like thousands of choices.

"I'm excited to try them then. What do you normally get?" I ask eyeing up the breakfast options. Breakfast during dinner time just hits differently. He points to the funnily named burger that's loaded with everything you could ever think of. Once I decide on getting classic pancakes I continue to take in my surroundings.

"How did you find this place?" I ask looking at the comic book aesthetic. There are little action figures surrounding the lights as Spider-Man dangles from the ceiling.

"It's not a very big town. Michael found it on one of his late-night adventures," he says smiling at the memories being brought up, "I'm surprised he hasn't called you in the middle of the night yet," he says making me laugh.

"He invited me over sometime this week to help him dye his hair. So that should be fun," I tell him as the waitress comes over.

"Don't tell me Luke finally got a girl," she teases as he glares at her.

"No, Diana. This is Eva. She's new to town," he says sounding annoyed.

"Nice to meet you, Eva. What can I get started for you two?" She asks. We both give her our orders and she walks away making Luke smile.

"So that's Diana. She's always been our waitress. Michael and she had a thing for a while but now they just weirdly flirt," he says making me widen my eyes.

"She seems perfect for him. She has the whole grunge vibe down perfectly," I tell him while sipping on my water.

"Yeah, Michael fucked it up but won't tell us how," he says intriguing me.

"Have you seriously never brought a girl here?" I ask as his face drops into his hands.

"I haven't met any girl that I'd want to bring here. Most of the girls we meet at parties disappear in the morning," he says leaning back in the booth.

"Seems like all of us are chronically single".

"I'm just waiting for Ashton and Kara to get together," he says making me smile.

"Thank god I'm not the only one who sees that," I smile, "We should lock them in a room at the next party," I tell him.

"I'm down for that. They have always been this way. They could use a little push," he says thinking out loud. As our food arrives at the table the bell above the door rings. Soon someone is sitting down next to me stealing a fry.

"Nice to extend the invitation," Michael says with his arm around my shoulder. I've come to realize he's a very touchy guy. Not in an uncomfortable way...it's kind of nice how comfy he is around me. Calum scoots Luke over as he slides in on the other side.

"I wasn't a big thing," he says picking up his burger. I pass Michael another fork and he smiles as we both start eating my pancakes.

"I was wondering when you'd show up," Diana says bringing over two cups of coffee for the guys. Calum thanks her as he starts pouring sugar into his. He sees me watching him and I quickly turn back to my food.
