The Reincarnated

Midnight trip.

After Fyllo left yesterday, Dani and I decided to go on a small trip. But not just any. Since dads have caught us sneaking off to town, we weren't allowed to be alone anymore. We are lucky, our two favorite guards are on duty, and since it isn't a full moon they don't have much to do.

Dani and I changed into black clothing. We walk towards the gates but are stopped by a hand on both our shoulders. "Going anywhere?" The guard we know as Gary asks us in a stern voice. We turn around and see Garret had joined him. "Um we we're just going to the bookstore, you know the 24/7 one" I say hoping they wouldn't catch up on the lie.

Garret gives Gary a look "well you kiddos can go". Just as Dani and I want to cheer. "But, bring your phones just in case something happens, and do not, I repeat, do not kill" he glares at Dani "or even get close to towns people". Dani raises her eyebrow "but they're probably are all sleeping". Gary shakes his head "you know what, I'll come with you guys, there isn't much to do here anyway". Garret just nods "I'm staying behind in case your dads freak out". We both smile and run off.

We are now on the towns square. Dani and I are roaming around and Gary is just following us. We hear music coming from a house. As we approach the house, Gary stops us "kids don't go near that house, they're energy feeders, they're dangerous". I look at Gary "but Dani is a blood and energy feeder and she isn't dangerous ". Gary smiles "yes Shadow but that's because she is trained and knows how to stay in control, they've never been in control or trained, now let's go to the bookstore shall we?". Dani and I smiled as we ran off to the bookstore.

We enter the bookstore. It seems to be that there are no people inside. Dani is looking around all the shelves while I stay in the childrens section. I have dyslexia and reading is difficult for me.

As we are looking at some books we see the owner walk to the front. "Oh hello there, didn't hear you guys come in". I turn around and look at the owner "it's okay sir, we already helped ourselves by looking at some books". The owner looks wide eyed at me "oh I'm sorry prince" he bows his head. I get up and bow aswell "please, we're only kids, we don't want any special treatment". The owner nodded "no worries then".

I see Dani come back with a pile of books. I look wide eyed at her "you're gonna read all that?". She looked at me and nodded. I smile putting a few books myself onto the counter. The shop owner looks at us smiling"well it isn't everyday that kids come here and buy this many books". We laugh. "Well I did read every book in our library, it was getting kinda boring" Dani says. The shop owner looks at Dani"how many books you guys own". Dani smiles"to many to count since we have 5 library's ". The man looked wide eyed at us "wow" was all he said.

Dani paid for our books. Gary helped us carry everything back. As Garret sees us he opens the gate doors helping Gary take a few books "they went all out again?". Gary nods smiling "atleast they aren't zombies of technology". Garret and Gary place the books down in the living room and then left to stand guard.

I went to bed as soon as we got home. Dani stayed downstairs on the sofa to read a little. "Just one chapter" she calls out. I know how that goes. She will stay up till 6am and later.

I layed down in bed closing the curtains. As I felt myself drift off I felt a weight on my legs. What the. I look up to see a wolf figure laying at my feet. "Oh heij uncle Kale". The wolf wags it's tail. "This is something you haven't done before " I say smiling.

The wolf wags it's tail. I feel myself drift off immediately. Maybe more adventures to come.
