Sadie's pov
"We came back home, we went for a walk, then had dinner, Jack arrived and then he left and we went to bed" I lie not telling them the truth.
"Jack told us a different story he mentioned you being in Ray's car you didn't so what I'm saying here is that who is lying Jack or Sadie" D.S Barnes states.
"Just get out out don't even think about coming back in here!" Mum exclaims and with that Barnes leaves.
"This has to stop I don't think I can do this anymore lie" I say
"Come on it's not as if they have anything on us I mean it's our word against Jack" Hunter replies
"We can get through this together you don't want to see your brother getting arrested do you?" Mum questions.
"No" I sigh
~~~Next Morning~~~
Mel's pov
"Guys, I had to tell Jack but the good thing is that he is gonna help us so there's nothing you need to worry about" I smile
"What why he can't be trusted just like Ray they are both exactly the same but you don't see it Jack is a police officer and you're just a lonely two- faced idiot who can't even get a man!!" Hunter shouts at me.
I don't know what went over me and I slapped him across the face.
"How dare you after everything I done for you I didn't have to protect you I could have just let you get in the nick."
Hunter scoffs and walks away Sadie gives me an evil glare
"I hate you and wish you were never my mother if he gets put in prison it is your fault and I will disown you I promise you that"
1 hour later
Mel comes upstairs to apologise to her kids.
"Guys I'm sorry I didn't mean to hit and Sadie I know you didn't mean what you said" Mel apologise
"Of course I didn't"
"What did you say" Hunter pipes confused
"Were both sorry I shouldn't have said what I said but you really deserve a better man than Jack or Ray I just just don't trust him." Hunter tells us
Hunter's pov
After, making up the doorbell rings I open it and it's Jack.
"Ready" Jack says
We all leave having packed our bags, I fall asleep in the car I eventually wake up when I hear sirens I see a police car behind us.
"Drive faster!!" I exclaim
"It's ok just tell them the truth" Jack stops the car
I throttle him until he unlocks the car and I make a run for it but I don't get far and the police catch up.
"Hunter Owen, I am arresting you for the murder of Ray Kelly you do not have to say anything but it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be giving in evidence" the police officer says while I'm being arrested.
