Summary: Takes place after the 'Actions Speak Louder Than Words' chapter! Splinter has a family meeting with his sons to discuss how they all treat Mikey and they learn to treat the youngest better!

"My sons, please enter the dojo." Splinter called in a soft voice. A few minutes later, his sons came in, looking a bit nervous. "Are we in trouble?" Leo gulped.

Splinter thought about it before shaking his head. "Hmm...no, but there is something important that we must discuss." He knelt down. The turtles did as well, looking confused, yet interested. 

It had been a few days since Splinter spoke with his youngest son and realized how unfairly they all treat poor Mikey. Splinter wanted to talk with his older sons about their behavior. And, his as well.

"Leonardo, Raphael, and Donatello." Splinter spoke. The three oldest looked at each other. "It has come to my attention that the three of you do not treat Michelangelo like a brother."

The brothers looked down a bit as Mikey listened in suprise. "Rather, you treat him like a punching bag, berate him, and treat him harshly...Raphael, you frequently insult and abuse Michelangelo."

Raph looked down, already feeling guilty. "Leonardo and Donatello, you, along with Raphael, frequently put Michelangelo down...even as far as making him feel unwanted and unloved..."

Leo and Raph frowned, as did Mikey. The youngest couldn't believe what he was hearing. His father was actually standing up for him instead of turning a blind eye to all the maltreatment.

"You're right...we do treat Mikey terribly..." Leo admitted. "I never should have tried to kick him off the team, or lectured him so hard, or made him feel bad for making mistakes..."

Leo faced Mikey. "Otouto, I'm so sorry...as a leader, I should have been more kind and fair to you...everyone makes mistakes, you didn't deserve to be lectured for it..." He felt horrible for how he'd acted.

"Thanks for apologizing, nii-san...I accept your apology and I love you, because you're my big brother, but I hope now you'll treat me better..." Mikey hugged his oldest brother. Leo hugged back tightly.

"I will, you have my word, Mikey..." Leo rubbed Mikey's head gently as Mikey churred in response. "Thank you for apologizing, Leonardo, I too hope you will make Michelangelo feel like a valuable member of the team from this point forward." Splinter smiled.

"Hai, father..." Leo smiled sadly. Raph then stood up and gently hugged Mikey. Mikey froze before slowly hugging back uncertainly.

"Mikey...dad's right, I always hit you, call you names, and act like a bit- a bish to you...I promise you, I'm gonna work a lot harder to control my anger issues and treat you like a brother..."

Mikey smiled and hugged Raph tighter. "Thanks, Raphie...I accept your apology, as long as you promise to not hit me or insult me anymore..."

Raph sadly smiled and nuzzled Mikey. "I promise, little brother...you'll never get hurt by me again...I never should have treated you like that, it was messed up as shell..." Mikey nodded in agreement.

Donnie suddenly hugged Mikey. "Mikey, I'm really sorry for all the times I yelled at you to get out  of my lab or acted harsh with you, I should have been kinder and less impatient with you..."

Mikey hugged Donnie back, grinning. "I accept your apology, D...thanks for that...it's nice to know I can go into your lab now without you snapping at me to leave..."
