𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮.

𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫.

It is 12:00 in the midnight, Mafuyu has gone out of her mansion and proceeded to walk to a specific abandoned castle. It was no surprise that she was practicing her spells there, in fact, she is indeed a disguised witch.

But just a few minutes in she heard a sudden noise like someone broke in.

"Ugh.. that was tiring!~ Never going out there again.."

It was nothing but Mizuki Akiyama the loyal knight.

"Mm? Oh! Mafuyu, unexpected to see you there." She said as she wiped her hand down her clothes to get rid of the dust, smiling warmly Mafuyu.

She quickly closed the book of spells and put it back on the shelf "Oh Mizuki, the noble knight of Oppidum Credul. What has brought you in this late?"

Mafuyu sat on the windowsill with a breath-taking view, Mizuki instantly sat with her gently holding her hand

"It was a cold night outside so I took a break from training, but didn't expect you to be here." She nuzzled on Mafuyu's neck, rubbing her cheeks lightly and happily "By the way, what was that book you put away?" Mizuki questioned with a curious tone.

Mafuyu hesitated to speak for a few seconds, but Mizuki didn't seem to mind and waited patiently for her answer.

"..The book? It was a novel written by Haruka." Mafuyu said blankly.

Mizuki's eyes were instantly filled with sparkles, she said excitedly: "Oo Haruka! I love her novels, what was the one you read?"

"It's a romance fiction called 'The Dancing Swan and the Lowly Penguin', that has kept me interested in reading more romance fiction."

Mafuyu had no interest in romance at all, but that one fiction has kept her interested in love ever since.

"Never heard of that one before.. what's it like? I'm interested in reading it if the library ever has one." Mizuki said with a genuine interested tone, she's always free to explore something new..

Mafuyu smiled softly, seeing Mizuki like this even at a late time really entertains her.

"Really? It's just like a lonely person is in love with someone that they surely don't belong to, but that someone loves them back.. and so on, they dance in a beautiful lake until their lives end." Mafuyu explained specifically.

Mizuki was full of interest in reading this novel, however what she doesn't know is that this novel is seemingly like to her relationship with Mafuyu.. she is desperate to confess her love to Mafuyu yet feels like a burden to her..

"That sounds.. really interesting! I'm looking forward to it~"

Mafuyu doesn't show much of her emotions, but deep inside her she is filled with happiness. "Thank you for being with me Mizuki." She said softly but gladly.

"You're welcome~ and are you coming back to your mansion?" Mizuki said curiosly

"Who said I was coming back to the mansion?" Mafuyu tilted her head slightly. "I want to spend more time with you Mizuki, i'm tired of being constantly locked in there."

"Oh, really?" She stood up "Well what should we do then? We could explore this castle if you want, it seems so breath-taking." Mizuki recommended Mafuyu, unsure if she wants to do it or not.

"The castle.." This place has interested her ever since she was a young child, it was once owned by the Cantores after all. "..Sure, I want to explore more in this castle."

"Great!" Mizuki said excitedly again "So where do you want to head to?" She asked Mafuyu, glad to spend more time with her.

"Hm.." Mafuyu mumbled "I'm not sure.. why don't you choose?"
