You bite on your finger nail as you rest your head on the table your sitting next to. The truth has been revealed and your tears have been set free. The cage you've been keeping them in, unknowingly, has been broken. You open the window right beside you and breath in the fresh air blowing strongly into your house. You hear the sound of children playing. You wish that it was you. But you're already nineteen years old. Times such as those are already gone, and nowhere to be found in your memory. In fact, even as a child you never got to do anything like that. Because growing up you had to worry about things only adults had to worry about. Money, food, respect...

You hear a light knocking on the door.
"Ayaka?" you yell, hoping it's her.
The door opens, but not by Ayaka.
"Ayaka is sick, so I came by instead. Hope that it's alright with you..." it was the guy from before. He gives you a worried smile.
"I might have spilt a bit to much at once..." he mumbles while revealing a plastic bag. The one Ayaka usually brings.
He walks in slowly.
"My name is Kamisato Ayato. Head of the Kamisato clan"
You gasp.
You try to think of anything disrespectful you said.
"Are you here to arrest me?"
He chuckles quietly.
"Why would you think that?"
You throw him an angry gaze.
"Oh right, not the time to laugh" he gives you an apologetic gesture.
Ayato walks over to you and sits down next to you.
"It's freezing in here" he closes the window.
"No it's not..." you whisper hesitantly to yourself.
"So about the thing with Thoma, it was extremely rude. Thoma barely agreed to do it... I should've seen that as a sign that you were not going to like it"
Ayato puts a hand on your back.
You cant help but notice how he looked so majestic. Like someone you would definitely crush on in high school.
"Dear y/n. Please forgive me"
You quit looking at his face.
"I understand why you did what you did. But I want to see my parents. Don't arrest them yet"
Ayato looks like he is about to say something but just sighs.
"I don't care if I get hurt. I want to know who abandoned me like that"
"Y/n I won't let that happen. They are dangerous people. I don't want to be against you. So please..."
You interrupt him.
"Don't think that you can control me just because you're powerful"
"I'm not trying to control you. Don't go against me. Don't go against the law. You can talk to them once I have them in my control"
You give up. You slam your hand against the table.
Ayato looks at you, flustered.

He looks out of the window and sighs once again. "Let's eat the food Ayaka got you. I'll eat it with you."
You look at him with one eyebrow raised.
"No I'm not trying to steal your food... you just need a bit company" he smiles.
Ayato gets up and walks over to the door where the plastic bag is placed. He bends down to get it but notices the hairpin Ayaka gave you.
Ayato giggles.
"She gave you this? Ayaka spent so much time on this hairpin. She must really like you"
You nod and look away from him.
Ayato picks up the bag and takes out two lunch bentos.
"I'm pretty sure she planned on eating this with you. That's why she packed two bentos instead of one"
You smile while looking down at the table. Ayato sits down next to you and opens the bento stuffed with rice, onigiris and some weird looking fruit.
"Hey, Ayato. Do you know what this is?" you ask him with a confused gaze while pointing at the fruits.
"I'm pretty sure they are Zaytun peaches. They must have been transported from Sumeru to here. That must have taken a lot of time"
"Wow..."
You pick one up and bite into it. A sweet and firm taste fills up your mouth.
"It's really good" you say while showing him a thumbs up.
He smiles and tastes one aswell.
"It really is. I'll ask Ayaka to give you more of those in the future"
You sighs loudly.
"Or maybe you could give me some? Ayaka is already hardworking enough"
"Does that mean I get to come by with your food daily instead of her?" he asks teasingly.
"No thank you." you answer trying to tease him back.

"Oh let me reshape the question for you. Is it alright if I come by with your food daily instead of Ayaka?"
