" Oh I love music from the 60's." Y/n said, as she stood in the elevator with Megumi. He smiled and nodded in agreement. Finally being in Italy was a dream for the both of them, and a very much needed vacation. " Hey Megs, do you know who your dad's getting here?" She asked, before Megumi pulled out his phone.

" I don't know. But before he get's here you need to know a few things." Megumi said, before Y/n nodded in understanding.

" Okay, go on." She said, before the elevator doors opened. The two stepped out into the hotels lobby, making their way to the private beach.

" First, he can be very handsy. So if you ever get uncomfortable just give me a look or something and I'll handle it." Megumi said as they made their way to the large glass doors leading to the beach. " Second, he's very flirtatious so just be really short with him. Actually, dont do that he'll think you're playing hard to get." He said before Y/n giggled.

" Maybe I'll just keep my distance." Y/n said, before Megumi nodded. The two stepped outside onto the beach and Y/n immediately jumped. " The sand, it's hot." She said panicking. Megumi laughed as Y/n stepped quickly to one of the beach chairs before sitting down. Megumi said beside her with a chuckle, before she removed her cover up. It was a long black dress, made out of lace. Underneath was a two piece dark navy blue set.

" Are you gonna go swim?" Megumi asked, eyeing her. She nodded with a smile, folding her cover up neatly and setting it on her chair.

" Yeah, you wanna come with?" She asked, waiting for his answer. Megumi nodded, feeling his face heat up.

" I really hope this salt water makes my skin feel nice. I keep seeing things about it's benefits." Y/n said before Megumi chuckled.

" It could, who knows."

" Alright everyone, the food is done." Kuchel announced from the dining room. Everyone had since gotten out of the pool, showering and drying off. Currently, most of them were in the living room, where the kids were playing around with small toys and whatnot, while the adults sat around each other drinking.

" Oh perfect. Stefan is here." Hannah said happily as she went to open the door for her fiance. Petra shifted in her spot next to Levi uncomfortably. Just then, Johanna walked into the room, her hair a bit damp from her shower. She was the last one to get out of the pool. Her hair was a large mop of curls, and her skin was a soft caramel color, her eyes a bit darker than hazel's.

" Hi, I don't believe we've met. I'm Johanna." She said, extending her hand out to Petra who shook it. Petra smiled at her, trying her hardest not to seem suspicious. " I'm Hannah's younger sister." Johanna added, before Petra nodded.

" Really? I would've never known." She said before Johanna laughed.

" Yeah, two different dad's. But still, what can you do?" She asked with a light chuckle. At least she isn't so fake, Petra thought.

" Well hello everybody." Stefan said, walking into the living room. " If I'm not mistaken didn't Kuchel say food was ready? I'm starving." He said laughing as everyone became lively once more, everyone going to greet him as he walked to the dining room. Stefan stopped upon seeing Levi, and his eyes widened even more upon seeing Petra with him.

"Levi! So good to see you. How've you been?" Stefan asked, before Levi grinned a bit.

" I've been good. This is Petra by the way, my girlfriend." Levi said, before Petra nodded her head with a smile. She was nervous, and Stefan nodded to her, his smile faltering a bit and he prayed Levi hadn't noticed. He did.

" It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Stefan, Hannah's fiancé." Stefan said, before Petra nodded.

" The pleasure is all mine, thank you." She said, trying her hardest not to throw up with how hard she was forcing her smile. Hannah stared from her place beside Stefan before he turned with a smile.

" Enough chit chat, let's eat." He said, and the laughter that erupted around him was the only sign of agreement he needed.

" Y/n, are you gonna change so we can go go dinner?" Megumi asked from the bathroom while Y/n sat at the desk in the hotel room, a blanket over her head.

" Can't right now. I need to finish this." Y/n said, before Megumi frowned a bit.

" Y/n it's vacation not work." He said, before Y/n pulled the blanket off.

" Megumi I'm doing this for me, not work." She said, before Megumi raised his brows and made a face that said 'you think I believe that ?'

Y/n sighed before looking back to her laptop, her mic in front of it.

" If it's not for work then there isn't a deadline right?" Megumi said, already knowing the answer. Y/n stood quiet, only opting to give him a side eye. " See. It is work. Just relax, put that stuff away." He said, walking over to their bed in the middle of the room, flopping down on it.

" I just wanna finish this. Please." Y/n said, giving him a pleasing look. Megumi sat in thought for a second, before letting his face fall flat on the bed.

" Fine." He said, before Y/n smiled and put her headphones back on, throwing the blanket back over her and the mic. " I'm getting ice from the vending machine, I'll be back." He said, walking to the door of the room. Y/n gave a thumbs up from under the blanket, and heard the door shut.

She flipped through her book, where she wrote most of her songs. Recording them by herself was a lot easier than with other people, which was why now was the perfect time to do it.

"We nearly drowned, For such a silly thing. Someone who loves me now, Better than you. And that pretty friend is Finally yours, and I'll be around on Sunday," The lyrics rolled off her tongue like a new language. Something she'd practiced and perfected over and over.

" If you'll meet me at Blue Diner I'll take coffee and talk about nothing, baby. At Blue Diner, I'll take anything you want to give me, baby~" Maybe it was the weight of the lyrics, the meaning they held to her. Or the fact that no matter how hard she tried to forget it, what she was doing was wrong.

'How can I break up with him now?' She thinks, trying to gain her composure.

" I haven't told anyone, just like we promised. Have you? Every time I drive through the city where you're from, I squeeze a little." For the moment, the only thing she can think is Levi. How he hasn't left Petra. How he cheated. What he did. The weight of it all becomes too much, and the tears falling down her cheeks as she cries to the song she sings under her blanket fade to the back of her mind. She's only worried about finishing this song.

" Meet me at Blue Diner, I'll take coffee and talk about nothing, baby~ At Blue Diner, I'll take anything you want to give me, baby" Her voice is strained, and almost cracks, her tears getting in the way of making it possible.

"At Blue Diner, I'll take coffee, talk about nothing, baby~" Her throat feels like it's closing, like if she's running out of air. Only then, does she feel the desperation in her tone, and how she can't think of any other way to sing it, but with the raw emotion she shows now.

"Blue Diner, I'll take anything you want to give me, baby~" From then, the music plays on, ending the song. The tears keep falling, falling and falling, one after another, like rain. She can't seem to find it in her to stop.

Who says she has too?
