Lola let put an irritated groan, throwing her phone down. she was at Matilda's and the two girls were doing face masks. Tilly looked over at Lola with a frown upon seeing her irritation.
"what's up? who's pissed off?" Matilda asked.
"Ben's just... being right as always." Lola huffed, "he's always sticking his nose in and being a little prick. and he's always right about it."
"it's only because he cares, Lola." Matilda assured.
Lola whined, "dude, I hate him sometimes."
Tilly playfully rolled her eyes, "no you don't. infact he's like probably your soulmate."
"I have Tyler." Lola whispered, sounding unsure herself.
"yet Ben's clearly the only person who gets you. and loves you. and if you weren't with Tyler, I think he'd have made you his by now."
Matilda's worlds sunk in and Lola wanted to curl into a ball. because it wasn't Ben that loves her. it was really her who felt for Ben. her only way to cope around Tyler was imagining Ben in his place.
