Once upon a time,
I wished upon a star.
Closed my eyes and dreamt,
I left the door ajar.
Waited for a miracle,
all I got was a scar.
Can't believe in fairytales,
my sanity is what they mar.
No more fantasy escapes,
need a getaway car.
No more childhood dreams,
I'm gone too far.
