I had to wake up early today to be able to take the cookies to the Wheelers' house
Luckily for me, there house is just one block away
I threw on my outfit for the day, did some natural makeup and covered up my almost healed bruises
and walked down stairs
"Hi El, so I'm taking Will for a check up since he isn't feeling too well. So, you can take his car.Just don't speed. Ok?" Joyce said as I grabbed a few eggo's
"Ok, is he gonna be okay?" I asked, a little worried about my brother
"Oh honey, he's okay. He just has a cold." Joyce said, squeezing my hand comfortingly
"Okay...that's good." I sighed in relief
"Um, where are the cookies?" I asked
"Oh, there on the counter." Joyce said pointing a cute cookie box

"Ooh, this is cute." I said honestly
"Thank you!" Joyce said with a wide smile
"Of course, your welcome. I'm gonna head out now, tell Hop I said hi, and Will I said good luck please?" I asked
"Okay." Joyce said hugging me goodbye and wishing me a good day
I left the house entering Will's car and driving to the address Joyce gave me
~At Mikes House~
After about 5 minutes I reached a nice house with a pretty garden.
I walked to the door and rang the bell
"MICHAEL! GET THE DOOR!" I heard a male voice yell
'Michael...as in...Mike?' I thought
"I'm busy..." I hear Mike yell
After a few murmurs the door opens revealing a sleepy looking Mike
He stood there in shock for a good 5 seconds
"Hi, um is your mom here? Joyce sent me to give her this box of cookies." I said showing him the cookies
"Oh um, hi, yes she is. One second..." He said walking into, what I assume is the kitchen
"Mom, Joyce's daughter's here, she brought cookies." I heard Mike whisper
"Oh really!?" I heard Mrs. Wheeler say excitedly
"Hi Elena, Joyce has told me so much about you. It's so nice to put a face to a name." She said hugging me
"Elena?" Mike mouthed to me
"Yea." I mouthed back, rolling my eyes
"Thank you so much for the cookies. I'm guessing you should be heading to school, Elena." Karen said smiling sweetly at me
"Oh your welcome, my pleasure. Yes I should head to school, and please, call me El." I said smiling back at her.
"Okay, well bye El. Mike, why aren't you getting ready?" Karen scolded Mike
"Bye Karen, bye Michael!" I teased Mike
"Bye Elena." He teased back
I glared at him, turning on my heel and walking to Will's car
I smiled driving to school with Mike right behind me
