A Trip To Asgard

Chapter 16

Tony spoke up, "Steve are you Ok with this?" Steve said, "Yes, I'm all for it. Especially if it makes Serena feel better." Then Bucky said, "You're kidding me, right? You are not actually going to let HIM take her away to a whole different planet?" Steve looked at Bucky and replied, "Yes, I AM! Because that's what she wants." Bucky didn't say another word. Thor said, "Loki, you are taking Serena to Asgard?" Loki asked, "Yes, is there a problem with that?" Thor said, "No, brother. I was just curious about what you were going to tell father about bringing a Midgardian to Asgard." Loki answered, "I plan on telling my father that Serena is the one that I love and want to marry. When Serena heard Loki say that HE WANTS to marry her, it shocked her. Serena said, cutting in on the conversation, "Whoa Loki! Did I hear you right? You want to marry me?" Loki looked at Serena and said, "Yes, my love I do if you will have me?" Serena said, "That should be my question to you." Loki replied, "I love you Serena and want to marry you. So, will you marry me?" Serena answered, "Yes, I will marry you." Loki had a big smile on his face. Thor continues his talk to Loki. Thor asked, "You want to marry Serena, a Midgardian? I thought you did not like Midgardians?" Loki answered, "Well, I LOVE this one and I want to marry her." Thor said, "I wish you luck, brother." Loki said, "Thank you brother." All of the Avengers were speechless, especially Steve. Steve asked, "Serena, are you sure about this?" Serena said, "I am, Steve." With that being said, Loki took Serena by the hand and led her outside, where he could call Heimdall to open the bi-frost.

Loki tells Serena, "Hold on tight to me, darling. The bi-frost can be a bit tricky for those who have never traveled it." Loki then said, "Heimdall open the bi-frost!" A bright light came down and around them and they were transported to Asgard. Upon arriving on Asgard, Loki introduced Heimdall to Serena. "Heimdall this is the love of my life, Serena." Heimdall said, "Yes, I know Loki. I have seen it." Serena said, "Oh Loki, stop that." with a blush. Heimdall said, "It is good to meet you, Serena." Serena said, "It is good to meet you too." Loki asked Heimdall, "Where are my parents?" Heimdall said, "They await you in the throne room." Serena asked Loki, "How did they know we were coming?" Loki said, "My parents have certain powers. Plus, Heimdall is the All-Seeing Gate Keeper. He has the ability to see the future." Serena said, "I feel sort of out of place with the way I'm dressed. Loki replies, "Oh, I almost forgot to give you a brand-new outfit." Loki waved his hand over Serena, and she was instantly dressed in Asgardian clothes. Loki dressed her in a beautiful long sleeve dress that was dark green at the top and light green on the bottom and also it had two pieces of material that was attached to her wrists that held up the sides of the dress, and the back was in a criss crossed pattern and it had thin straps. Loki said, "I hope you like green." Serena asked, "Why did you ask me that?" Loki said, "Because green and gold are my royal colors and I want everyone to know that you are with me. What do you think, love" Serena said, "I love it." Loki smiled down at her and said, "I'm glad and let's go and see my parents."
