3 weeks later...

Sara finished the remaining school days with insane changes on her academic grades. It increased a lot since she decided to treat her studies seriously. Plus, she's doing it on behalf of his father, whom she knows she will be given a lot of favors if she excels in her academics.

She's chilling on their balcony and said, "Ilocos here I come!"

"Mame-meet rin kita, Ferdinand." She said whilst holding the bottle.

Meanwhile, her friends particularly Mitch, didn't even waste any time to check up on her. Paano ba naman kasi, everytime they attempted to see her in person, lagi din siyang umiiwas.

It seems like her life turns 360 degrees now, taking an uncertain path with no guarantee of anything at all.

She began browsing her phone and searching for flights to Ilocos and in just a blink of an eye, she secured it.

It seems like her plans are going well.

...

As she was boarding on to the plane alone, she felt this immense thrill inside her that made her shiver.

"Napaka-exciting naman! Who would've thought pumayag si Tatay Digz na gumala ako mag isa. Well I guess he prefer me being alone. No BI's and shits."

She arrived safely in her destination and decided to take a rest for a while after a long trip. It was already nightfall and she wants to relax a bit 'cause she'll have a long day ahead tomorrow.

But then, her stomach says otherwise, it began grumbling, asking for food.

"I never felt this before, yung gutom ka pero pagod ka." She complained to herself while laying on the hotel bed.

Good thing her father gave her a lot of money on her trip.

After a few minutes, she cannot take it anymore and walk through the ground floor to look for something to eat. However, after a few minutes trying to search for the food she craves, wala pa rin siyang mapili kaya lumabas na lang muna siya sa hotel.

"Wala bang barbecue-han dito?" She unintentionally blurted it out loudly as she stood in the hotel's entrance lobby.

"Marami sa labas miss."

She's stunned when a man spoke behind her and turned around to see who it was.

The man flashed a tiny smile on his lips. He got this chinito eyes and an impressive nose. He's wearing a white lacoste polo that hugged his fit body and his hair is a clean cut low fade. One thing she noticed also was his cool shades hanging on his collar.

After realizing that she might've spent a couple of minutes studying the features of the man in front of her, she composed herself and spoke, "Oh, saan banda sir? Nagugutom kasi ako."

She called him sir since she knew the man is quite older than her, "Nasa 30's ata to".

"Thank God, I thought you'll never ask for directions, you might've mistaken me for some maniac or something." Then he laughed slightly.

"Ah- no sir, sorry kung di ako nakasagot agad, kagagaling ko lang kasi sa malayong biyahe kaya medyo...lutang. Hehe."

"I see, but don't worry. This place is crime-free. Anyways, just take a motorcycle at sabihin mo na sa night market ka pupunta. Medyo malayo-layo rin kung lalakarin e."
