In the trail north
On the east side of the port
I have walked along
A place where nature belong
The view from the sky
The clouds a translucent dye
Shading the day pool
And keeping the hiker cool
The peak of wind chill
Shivers, no cover to fill
No shade from the cold
Why, Why have we been so bold?
The sun heeds the silent call
With the bright dawn, rays shall fall
