"Oh finally!" Hayley exclaims, "The author decides to update after 3 days."
"Author?" Bruce asks her, confused.
"Oh, nothing."
[They enter a dark room, with broken pieces all around it.]
"This is one weird ass room." A fifth year Slytherin says, while others agree with them.
Hermione: I don't like this. I don't like this at all.
Hayley: Where are we? A graveyard?
"Oh my god!" Hayley yells, scaring the shit out of the people around her, "I PREDICTED THE FUTURE! RON I'M A PSYCHIC! LIKE HAGRID!"
"MY MERLIN! YOU ARE TOO!" Ron yells back to her, shocked.
Ron: This is no graveyard. [sighs] It's a chessboard. [Walks out onto the marble board and flames light, illuminating the board and GIANT players. Hayley and Hermione come up with him.]
Hayley: There's the door.
[They walk across the board, towards the door. Suddenly, as they reach a line of pawns, the pawns bring up their swords. The three jump and back up.]
"Wow. You really thought it would be that easy?" Draco says, mockingly.
"Draco, You would've ran away screaming, 'mY fAtHeR WiLl hEaR aBoUt ThIs!'." Ron tells him while Hayley laughs.
Hermione: Now what do we do?
Ron: It's obvious, isn't it? We've got to play our way across the room. All right. Hayley, you take the Bishop's square. Hermione, you'll be the Queen's side castle. As for me, I'll be a knight. [They all take their places.]
"Mk then."
Hermione: What happens now?
Ron: [aboard a horse.] Well, white moves first, and then...we play. [A pawn on the other side moves forward. Ron studies the game.]
Hermione: Ron, you don't suppose this is going to be like...real wizard's chess, do you?
Ron: You there! D-5! [A black pawn moves forward, diagonal to the white pawn. The white pawn raises its swords and smashes the black one. The three jump.] Yes, Hermione, I think this is going to be exactly like wizard's chess!
"You gotta be shitting me."
[The game continues. Pieces smash each other, BOOm! BOOM!]
Ron: Castle to E-4! [SmAsh!]
Ron: Pawn to C-3! [SmAsh! bOOm! The Queen turns, and smashes a piece! Hayley, Ron and Hermione wince.]
