Min-a was the first to come back to her senses. She coughed lightly, "Shin-hye, I am really glad that you like Suzy so much. However, think about Suzy's current relationship with Jennie and the others. If she really becomes your goddaughter, should Leo acknowledge her as his paternal aunt or maternal aunt?"

"Oh..." Shin-hye had not thought of that. Now that Min-a brought it up, it had put her in a difficult position.

Seeing her reaction, Min-a's eyes flickered slightly. She smiled and said, "I say, if you really like Suzy, you should bring Leo to visit me and Suzy more in the future. It is better than acknowledging her as goddaughter."

Suzy blushed and murmured, "Welcome home."

"Ahem..." Woobin, who walked in behind Minho could not help but let out a cough to remind them there were other people present when he saw them.

Suzy was startled when she heard his voice. realizing what she had done in front of so many people, she instantly blushed.

Min-a's eyes were full of smiles, though she could not bear to see her daughter-in-law being embarrassed. She took the initiative to help her out, "Alright now. Since you are home, let's have lunch now. Leo, you must be hungry now. I can hear your stomach growling."

"I am not!" Leo, who had just been exposed, blushed as well. He grudgingly defended himself in a loud voice.

Several adults were stunned by his yelling. They burst out in laughter the moment they collected themselves.

However, thanks to Leo, Suzy felt less embarrassed now compared to earlier.

The kitchen served the dishes very quickly after they were notified. The Kim family did not care too much about the formality of dining. After they were seated, they started eating and talking.

Jennie looked at the second floor and asked in puzzlement, "Mom, isn't grandpa going to join us?"

Min-a smiled and shook her head. "Your grandfather just happened to be out of town today, so he won't eat with us. Here, this is your favorite sweet and sour pork. I specially asked the kitchen to make it. Try and see if it is to your liking."

Jennie's eyes flickered slightly. She did not ask what the old man had gone out to do. She smiled as she took the sweet and sour pork that Min-a had picked up for her. She lowered her head and started eating it.

Min-a was chatting with Jennie, while Woobin was talking with Lisa and Minho about family matters and business prospects. As for Shin-hye, she was feeding her grandson with contentment while casually engaging in a small talk with Suzy. The atmosphere at the dining table was quite harmonious and warm, until...

"Jennie, Suzy, look at this. This old hen was specially brought over by our kitchen maid Mrs. Liu from her hometown. It is a native farm hen. It is very tonic. Since Jennie came back today, I had asked her to make soup with it for you two to nourish your health. Drink it while it's warm."

Jennie walked behind Suzy. She saw her run into the bathroom, then she heard the sound of retching coming from inside.

The all-too-familiar image made Jennie stunned for several seconds. She straightened her face and quickly walked into the bathroom to help Suzy breathe smoothly.

Suzy had not eaten much. She finally felt more comfortable after vomiting a little. Her eyes were slightly red. She was about to say something when Minho and Lisa rushed in.

"What's wrong? Are you not feeling well?" After Minho entered the bathroom, he walked straight toward them and held Suzy in his arms. He frowned and asked.

Suzy was shocked to see Minho coming inside. "Why are you here too? I am fine, it's probably because I have been having an upset stomach lately. I felt a little nauseous when I saw oily food. It is not a big issue. You'd better go back and take care of our guests."

Minho was dissatisfied with Suzy's perfunctory answer. He said in a deep voice, "Mom and Dad will take care of them. They can manage."
