  Alex led to me to a cafe that was few minutes away from campus.
He ordered a latte with extra caramel sauce and chocolate chip shavings on top,while I got a regular Iced coffee with 2 sugars and 1 cream,after we got our drinks,we got a table by the window,on the far side of the cafe.

I took off my hood,and began scrolling on my phone when Alex took out his notes and laptop and got to work.
After 30 minutes passed,and the cafe got a little busier,I got a text from my older brother,it was Soilic,which was a surprise because all four of them didn't bother getting in touch with me for the past few weeks since I've been to America.

"Hey baby bro,how is america?" He asked,I took a few minutes to respond,only because I didn't know what to say,"It's just ok" I responded,I grabbed my drink and took a sip of it,when he texted me back.
"How so?" I sat my drink back down and responded back"They don't have free healthcare here,Its all kinds of poisons and chemicals in the food,and school shootings happen so often,that the people here are desensitized to it,on top of the fact that,people and children get sex trafficked so much that the numbers increase every few minutes" I responded back.

"And Its so many homeless people here,that they could build a community for homeless people,and the shelters are just about full with homeless people,it's scary,in all honesty I'd rather live back home with the mafia everywhere rather then here" I sent back.

"Wow,and I thought living in our neighborhood was bad,I'm sorry you have to see so much,stay safe and be careful please" he responded back.

I read it,but I got a little frustrated that I hadn't heard from him or my other brothers so I went ahead and asked.
"Why am I just now hearing from you?,its been almost a month since I got here,and other then mom your the only one to reach out to me" I sent.

I was trying not to get to upset but I couldn't help but slam my phone down on the table after I sent the message and stared out the window for a little while.
I felt a hand on mine and looked back to see Alex looking at me worriedly,while he was patting his hand on mine.
"Is everything ok?" He asked,trying to read my face. I didn't say anything,I just looked at him and looked back out the window.

"Babe,is everything ok?" He asked again,that caught my attention because he called me "babe" he knows we're not together,all we do is have occasional hookups,and I made a mental note to start hooking up with other people.
I turned back to look at him"Alex we're not together,so no call me "babe" I said looking at him.
"But thankyou for checking on me, Im frustrated a little" I said looking at him.

"Can I help with anything?" He asked still trying to read my face."No, I leave now,I have class soon, so I see you later" I said getting up from the table.
I grabbed my drink,and patted his shoulder and headed towards the door of the cafe,when my phone buzzed in my hand.
I began walking away from the cafe when I decided to check my notifications tab ob my phone and saw that Soilic texted me back.

I didn't bother opening the message, I instead put my headphones back in and began listening to my playlist again,I put my hood back on and kept walking back to campus.
