Today was the day I have been dreading. We leave for Scotland tomorrow. I need to get materials for classes and make sure I know what I am missing while I'm away.
"So have you thought about the tutoring," Mr. Capsole asks me.
"Yeah, I have and I am already signed up to tutor someone," I say.
"Who?"
"Ace Sterling."
"Oh okay. He needs help in school."
"Well, that's what I'm here for," I say.
"How long will you be gone for?"
"About a week."
"Okay well, when you come back you will have to take your midterm."
"Of course."
"Here is all the study material."
She hands me a binder that is packed full of study materials.
"Thank you."
I did that in other classes and it was not pretty. I only am taking three midterms and those are in English, physics, and statistics.
Ace is going to need some help if he wants to pass and play basketball.
**** I am quickly packing for my trip to Scotland and the girls are helping me.
"Is it supposed to be cold there?"
"I don't think so but just in case I would pack sweats and a hoodie," Alexis says.
"Good thinking."
"So?" Gracie asks.
"What."
"Are you and Ace gonna make out on the trip or what," Gracie asks me.
"I don't know."
"Girl, please. When me and Blake barged into his house a couple of days ago he was literally eye fucking you." Alexis says.
"Really! I didn't notice."
"Mia, wake the fuck up he kissed you at the game in front of everyone, and let's talk about the eye fucking because me and Alexis both see it," Gracie says.
"I seriously haven't noticed," I say.
Of course, I fucking noticed. There has been weird eye fucking and this stupid tension between us but he said he doesn't want a girlfriend.
