New Start??
Ashley's Pov:
I remember waking up at home in my own room, I don't exactly remember the ride on the way there but I heard a faint ringing sound... right as I got up though I noticed my mother at the foot of my bed, looking almost worried.
(Ashley's mother): "I heard the news..."
(Ashley): "Don't... I don't feel like talking about it right now....please..."
After I had said those words mom had left me in my room, the projecter still down and my pillow still on the ground. I went and grabbed my hat, threw on my shoes, and ran to the library in search of a possible solution, if magic exists to commit genocide they surely you can resurrect people....right? Anyways I kept searched for hours, I had crippling headaches until I fell down, my palms hurt now from breaking my fall until a hand reached out to help me...
(???): "OH MY HALO!! I'M SO SORRY ABOUT THAT!!"
(Ashley): "Hey it's ALRI-"
[Ashley would slip once again and fake laugh trying to hide how embarrassed she was]
(???): "Woah there, are you alright?"
(Ashley): "Yeah-...sort of- heh... anyways my name is A-ashley. How about yours?"
(Brianna): "Oh! I'm Brianna, and it looks like you still need help up- anyways what're you looking for here? I noticed you've been here my entire shift.."
(Ashley): "O-oh...it's kind of personal. I don't exactly feel comfortable sharing but thanks for worrying-?"
(Brianna): "Oh you're good. Let me know if you need anything cutie!"
Brianna's Pov:
This girl was clumsy as fuck. Well in a cute way? I guess, kind of like the mini stories from the Diamond Beach magazines if that's how you explain it..anyways I just continued on with my shift putting up books until walking past this weird glowing book...my boss never put any spellbound or enchanted dictionaries so this was strange. Nonetheless I left it on the "enchanted property" cart before packing up for the day. I went to check up on Ashley again to see her searching dor a spell book type? I don't know why but I tapped her on the shoulder to tell her about the book.
(Brianna): "So you're looking for spell books hoe? I can help"
(Ashley): "HOLY HALO. WHERE DID YOU EVEN COME FROM?!!?!?! AND HOW DO YOU EVEN KNOW IM LOOKING FOR SPELL BOOKS.."
(Brianna): "You've been browsing in obvious isles looking specifically at enchanted news articles so it's just process of elimination. Well I found some enchanted looking book that may be easy to find some spells in, it was glowing purple and it's on the enchanted cart. Take it or leave it toots."
(Ashley): "I- thank you, am I able to repay you somehow? I've been browsing for hours and you're such a lifesaver!"
(Brianna): "Sure, what's your heart tag?"
(Ashley): "Oh its ♡♤◇-♧○♤-●♡♧□"
(Brianna): "Thanks cutie. Well I'll be on with my shift good luck!"
(Ashley): "Thank's again!)
Ashley's Pov
Today was a fucking ROLLERCOASTER. To say the LEAST. Well I went to go check out the book and called my mom so she can have a carriage come get me, on the ride I browsed the table of contents and found something on "Enchantix School for Fairies and Mermaids" it seemed intriguing since mermaids went extint 78 years ago...I still don't know how but maybe if it's a fairy school there could be spells there. I guess I'll just have to see when I could travel there...
