03 | The first clue

Lisa was standing In Front of his house door, she was running nervous. She then types the pin code and comes inside the house. She slowly closes the door with any noises as she didn't want to wake Jungkook up. She slowly removes her handbag and jacket and places it on the counter.

She enters the hall and sits on the couch to relax herself first, she looks around while tearing up. She softly sobs as she remembers the happy moments with her boyfriend who's now unconsciously lying in the bed, she drinks a glass of water to calm herself down. Then she gets up and heads to his room, she was shocked to see Jungkook hospitalized at his house. 

Even though she knew about it, seeing this in person is a lot different and shocking. He had band-aids around his neck and hands, and had drips up his hands, she looked very weak and worn out. She couldn't help but to cry, she slowly walks towards him and caresses his hair slowly as she sits down near him. 

She slowly and carefully observes him as she softly sobs. Her hands moved from caressing his hair to his face, she was in pain while seeing him at this stage. She sighs and holds his hand. She brings it closer to his face and kisses it. 

"Jungkook-ah, sorry for not visiting you yesterday and for not letting you explain. M-my mind was so messed up and I was scared to hurt you that's why I didn't contact you. But seeing you like this hurts me more.. I know you would never do something like this to me, so give me some time.. Some time to think, solve and help you in this matter. I need some time for myself, for me to think straight." She slowly places his hand in the original position. 

She then gets up and lays down next to him, hugs him softly and drifts off to sleep. After having a comfortable sleep for an hour she was awakened by the buzzing sound from her phone, she got a call from her friend. She picked up and started talking, while she was talking Jungkook slowly opened his eyes and saw Lisa. He didn't fully gain his consciousness.

All he could see was Lisa's back and after the call Lisa lied down one last time and hugged him softly.

"Just give me sometime, some time to clear my mind. I'll be back." she whispers and then gets up, looks at him one last time and leaves. 

Jungkook then went unconscious again. Lisa after meeting her friend she went back home, honestly her house doesn't feel like a home anymore. She was so exhausted and her phone battery died and she didn't tend to charge it as well. 

At Jungkook. 

Jungkook gained his consciousness a few hours later after Lisa left, he woke up feeling empty. He suddenly remembers that Lisa was with him, he looks around to see if she's actually here or if it's just his imagination. 

"Lali? Lisa? Bab--" he shouted as much as possible but eventually gave up as he didn't have much strength to shout. He kept thinking as he felt Lisa's presence somehow and he kept remembering Lisa's words. 

"Just give me sometime, some time to clear my mind. I'll be back"

He started tearing up, he then hugged his knees and cried even more and thought he was just hallucinating. He looked at his phone to see if Lisa had replied to any of his messages or calls but sadly there was no reply. He just accepted the reality of people thinking that he cheated on her but the truth is he got r**ed which no one knew except his friends.

People started making wrong assumptions and he got tons of calls regarding this which made this matter even worse. All he could do was ignore the call and cry, he couldn't do anything except for that as he didn't have any strong proofs about it. He felt powerless, worthless and like he was good for nothing. 

Few days passed and Jungkook didn't get any message nor call from Lisa, he honestly fell into a deep depression and started torturing himself. He cannot keep it in, every single second all he remembers is him and the random girl naked in the bed and Lisa seeing them together like that. She started breaking things around him, hurting himself and shaking in fear. 

He was scared that the whole world would go against him, and he wouldn't be able to prove his innocence. He'll be all alone at the end, and Lisa... Lisa would never want to see his face ever again. 

On the other hand, Lisa was trying to find the actual truth and proof for Jungkook. But first what she did was recall the exact moment from 2-3 days ago and was trying to remember each and every single detail that she saw. She was thinking about it very hard when something struck her head. 

She remembered that she only saw hickeys on her boyfriend's body but didn't see a single one on the girl's body. That's the first clue she got in this puzzle, she quickly noted it down in her phone and called her friends to talk about it.

"Guys, I'm serious. Like I really remember it clearly, I was crying at that time but still I took a closer look. And there were no marks or any scratches on her. That only means one thing, she must have ---" Lisa went silent, her eyes started tearing up. All she could think about is Jungkook, how he must have felt when she didn't talk to him and ignored him. She was thinking about how he was now. 

"Guys, guys btw how's Jungkook?" Lisa was so fast to ask about him. 

"hmm we're not sure Lis, he didn't want us to come over. He said he wanted some alone time, and of course we had to respect his Choice." Jaehyun sighed while Taehyung and Rosie were nodding their heads slowly. 

"Soo, when did you last see him? Yesterday?" Lisa asked. 

"No, not yesterday. Probably two or three days ago." Taehyung sighed. 

"Wh-what? Two to three days ago? Guys what? You know how he is and was after this incident, like a day is fine but leaving him alone for 2-3 is bad." Lisa was breathing heavily. 

"You know what a depressed person does right? He might, he might---" while saying that Lisa realized what he could have done, she then quickly stood up anxiously. 

"Lis, calm down." Rosie also stood up. 

"Gu-guys, I'll go see him right now. I'll call you guys after I get there." She quickly bid them goodbye and started driving to his house while being deathly scared.

"Jungkook please be safe, whatever you do please don't go in the wrong way. I-am sorry for leaving you all by yourself at your worst, if anything happens to you I won't forgive myself for that. So please, please stay safe."

She thought to herself.
