Stretching out beside this chunky asshole Cruz who is on full surveillance upon Taehyung like he is some freak who will run away from the middle of the show, "Taehyung I am going to eat care to join me?" I ask and my tone is totally unfriendly Taehyung sensed it and cocked his head in my direction 

"I am not hungry tho" he replies languidly. Unbelievably my mouth slips a frustrated sigh which makes the two males eye me twistedly. 

I know how to get Taehyung with me. 

"I am going to smoke then" I announce and Taehyung hurls the newspaper from his hand to some dark corner of the room and starts following me. Cruz's eyes follow us like a hawk, what pissed me was when he got up and followed us. 

I stop and Taehyung bumps into my back, this speedy bastard is another pain in my ass "I am not coming if that mountain is coming along with us" I mumble and Taehyung sighs and shoots a glance at the mountain "Cruz stay here, I will be back in a few" 

Cruz's mouth is zipped shut. 

I smirk. 

Taehyung follows me out already. 

Riding the elevator upstairs, the fucking elevator stops on every other floor this is why I like to take the private one. 

My consciousness feels faint dead when Rain and her friend step in. Rain's face lightens upon seeing Taehyung she passes him a warm smile and her face falls when her eyes reach mine. It's sophisticated how she reacts to my unwillingness. 

She keeps running away every time she bumps into me, I recall our last encounter.

FLASHBACK 

"Bring the audit printouts fast!" I yell standing at the threshold, my meeting and lunch with GLF audit is to settle down with payment. 

I tug at my tie and straighten my suit once more before San hands over the documents to me, I tuck it under my arm and walk again before I realize my chequebook is in my cabin! Shit. 

I shove the printouts on San's chest "I forgot my checkbook in the drawer!" I announce before walking in long strides approaching my cabin "Don't follow me" I  command before taking a turn from the elevator and running down the stairs. 

I pant and look up suddenly Rain is in front of me holding a disposable cup of coffee, she is wearing a beige blouse and pencil skirt matching her tone, I am stunned to see her my eyes are brimming at her legs "Good... afternoon? Miss Harper" I say in an unwanted exhilarating voice that I regretted the second I finished speaking to snap Rain out of her staring habit. 

And she steps back in shock, right now we look weird that we stopped in our tracks and uselessly staring at each other, her hand shivers and the cup slips from her hold she gasps at the sight of the coffee being spilt on the edge of her skirt, there is a whole mess on the floor. 

Holy shit. 

I stare at her and then back at the clattered floor, her eyes quickly fill with tears. She shoots a wounded, angry look at me and turns back before she scuffles and flees the scene. 

I am in a void that makes me blank for a moment to absorb what had happened here, she is running and I am watching her run from me. 

Before I could call her name the image of Rain leaving surfaces in my mind's eye: her sad, ashen face stricken with hurt and confusion.
