Alpha I Need You – Chapter Twenty Two

Damon POV:

The last thing I remember before everything went black, was the excruciating pain in my chest and

the room deeming around my mate’s beautiful face as she started to cry. I felt her anger and pain

soar though my body and I knew I had to fight and hang on because I couldn’t leave Rachel and our

pup after just getting them in my life.

Then the next thing I knew, I hear her crying and our friends trying to console her. I could also feel her

sadness and pain and I need her next to me. When I finally had her back in my arms I felt complete,

plus I found out we were expecting three pups. Then as usual all hell broke loose again only this time

it was Rachel’s Cousin Greg causing the trouble instead of my crazy brother, Eric.

After my mate fainted from all the stress and being pregnant, I placed Rachel softly and safely on the

couch. Then I turned and faced our betas, “Alright, someone get me updated on this mess.”

“Damon, after Eric stabbed you, Rachel killed him and then we had to rush you back here so the

doctor could get the piece of silver that broke off Eric’s knife out of your wound, so you could shift.

Now two months later, Greg has escaped and took Shannon with him,” Joshua replied as he looked

at Rachel then back to Damon.

“Has anyone started tracking him, and how in the hell did he get free and grab Shannon?” I asked as I

started to pace the floor as our mothers held each other and cried and our dads stood ready for battle.

Just seeing those two like that, made me fear for anyone that crossed their paths.

“Damon, we found Devin on the basement floor unconscious with a big gash in his forehead, but he

alright now. When we followed Greg’s scent it lead us to another abandoned warehouse about two

hundred miles from here,” Joshua replied from where he stood looking out the window.

“He must have grabbed Shannon when she was outside playing with the kids,” Ty stated.

“Damon, Shannon is due to deliver any day now, and we planned on getting married tomorrow,”

Lamont stated as he wiped his tears.

“Damon, please bring my baby back,” Amy said from her place in my mom’s arms.

“I will do everything in my power to get her back today,” I replied as I looked at my mate sleeping so

peacefully and I hope I can get her sister back before she wakes up and cuts my balls off for leaving

her here.

“Alright let’s go get Shannon back, and everyone please be careful, Greg may have rouges working

with him,” I said just before we walked out the front door after I took one last look at my mate.

“Lamont, when we get there I want you to focus on getting Shannon out of there, and the rest of us

will focus on Greg and his help if he has any,” I stated as we stood outside in front of the house.

In front of the house we found, a sea of our combined pack and they were ready for war.

“Everyone knows why we are here, and now it’s time to fight. I thank everyone for volunteering and on

my command let’s go,” I stated as I looked each of them in their eyes.

Seeing we were all in agreement, I turned and ran toward the forest.
