Nathaniel was in the Mystic Falls Hospital watching Jeremy, the doppelganger's little brother, who looked at Vicki worriedly.
It was not Nathaniel's intention to watch Jeremy, he just came to see if the girl would survive.
Unfortunately for him, the girl would survive.
A nurse passed him, then entered the girl's room, passing Jeremy.
The nurse checked Vicki's condition as she spoke to Jeremy.
"You can't be in here, hon. Visiting hours don't start till 9:00."
Jeremy looked at Vicki, before turning his attention to the nurse while the said nurse wrote on her notebood Vicki's condition.
"I just...how is she?"
"She's lost a lot of blood."
Jeremy looked at Vicki worried while the nurse turned her attention to the boy.
"Yeah, but she's gonna be ok, right?"
"She needs her rest. So you come back later. Come on."
Nathaniel watched as the nurse escorted Jeremy away from Vicki's room before disappearing as well.

Nathaniel was inside his personal office tring to listen to something interesting conversation.
He found one.
"I brought it. Told you."
""Wuthering Heights" by Ellis Bell. You know, I can't believe she didn't use her real name."
Stefan and Elena.
Nathaniel rolled his eyes at that.
"All the Bronte sisters used pseudonyms. It was the time. Female writers weren't very accepted then."
"Where did you get it?"
"It is one of Nathaniel's books. It was passed down. Through the family. He likes to collect them."
"I should give him the book soon, right?"
"Yes, he gave me one week to bring the book back. So you have one week. And make sure to be careful with it. Or he will snap my neck."
Literally right.
"Okay, so one weeks. I can do that. I promise I'll give it back."
"Ok."

Nathaniel was hungry so he found himself in Mystic Grill, the town's only restaurant, café and bar, in search of a little snack.
Since it was afternoon, there wasn't many people, but it was easy to go unnoticed.
As he walked around, he found a blonde woman, much shorter than him, sitting alone.
He smirked before sitting beside her.
"Hello, dear. What a beautiful woman like you doing here? Alone?"
The woman looked at Nathaniel surprised before falling into his act.
"I needed a little distraction... My boyfriend just broke up with me..."
Nathaniel internally smirked, before looking in the woman's eyes.
"Well, I'm sure I can be your distraction. Don't you think?"
The woman was compelled by Nathaniel.
"Yes... Yes, you can."
Nathaniel stoop up before looking at the woman.
"Come on, we don't have all day."
The woman could only stand up following after Nathaniel out of the Mystic Grill.
Nathaniel stoped in a dark alley two blocks away from the Grill, the woman stoped as well.
He looked at her before cornering her in the darkest part of the alley, then looking at her.
"Don't scream."
He compelled her before lowering to her neck.
Nathaniel's face changed as dark veins appeared under his eyes and making his caniese slowly transform into fangs.
He slowly brought his face to her neck before tearing her skin with his fangs and drinking her blood.
After a few seconds later, he slowly backed away -his face changing back- to see her pale, but not enough for her to die and she stayed standing because of the compulsion.
Nathaniel bit his own index finger and held it above her mouth.
He let three drops of his blood fell in her mouth before dropping his hand to the side and watched as the bite on her neck began to heal.
Nathaniel looked in her eyes.
"You never met me. You was alone in the Mystic Grill before deciding to go for a walk around and thought that you saw a cat here. It's all that happend."
"It's all that happend."
"You only went for a walk. You thought you saw a cat here. Nothing else happend."
"I only went for a walk. I thought I saw a cat here. Nothing else happend."
Nathaniel looked at her before disappering from there as the woman blinked and looked around.
"I thought I saw a cat here."

Nathaniel went back to the Boarding House, but stopped as soon as he saw Elena coming out of the house.
Elena looked up to see her teacher looking back at her with a raised eyebrow.
