Sagittarius's pov
I woke up slowly, feeling dazed. My head hurts. I'm sitting on a cold hard floor, feeling sore. Then I realized my hands were tied together and weights were weighing my feet down. Anxiety welled up in the pit of my stomach, making me nauseous. Nothing covered my mouth but I couldn't see anything, it was pitch black. I started to get frantic trying to get the ropes untied and the weights off as fast as I could. I hate the dark, why? People lurk there that's why, and this situation proves my point.
I try to stand up but trip by the tug of the weight and face plant onto concrete floor. I was completely helpless now, not able to roll onto my back and my hands are under me. I whimper, trying to swallow the lump in my throat. It doesn't work and soon tears are streaming down my face. Once I started crying I couldn't calm down, I was gasping for breath, my heart beating against my chest. Sobs wracked my body and soon I was choking, desperate for air.
Then I hear a voice through the darkness. A foot touches me.
"Sagittarius?!" It's Gemini. I don't stop crying, I can't and at this point my head is pounding. I hear the sound of her untieing a rope and getting the shackles off.
"Hold on, it's okay I'll get to you." The pounding in my head was getting unbearable, making my stomach queasy. When I was younger I puked every time I had a migraine.
Gemini takes what seems like forever ( even though it was only two minutes) but finally frees me.
Gemini's pov.
Sagittarius practically throws herself into my arms, shaking like a leaf. I hold her and calm her down after five minutes, but she doesn't stop shaking.
"What wrong?" I asked gently.
"My head hurts so much and I think I'm going to throw up." She said weakly.
I frowned, concerned. I stand up and help her up.
"C'mon, let's find every one else and get the fuck out of here. Tell me if it gets worse."
I held her hand to slowly guide her through the darkness. We continued until we almost accidentally trampled Aquarius, who had his phone flashlight.
He turned it on, and there everyone was. Some were still passed out. We were in a jail cell, a huge one.
I freed everyone and woke them up and we all huddled together to find a way to get out of this hell hole. Sag laid her head on my shoulder, but nobody could really tell through the darkness.
"Does anyone have anything useful to share?" Cancer asked hopefully. I offered a hand.
"I mean, maybe? I don't know but now that Sag got bit she has a migraine and is nauseous."
Cancer clasped their hands together.
"Great, does anyone else feel like shit?"
Taurus, Pisces, Aires, and Capricorn raised their hands. "You don't count Taurus, because you always feel like shit."
Taurus shrugged.
"Pisces?"
"I feel light headed."
"Cap?"
"I feel like shit because you made me eat that poisoned food I already threw up twice I hate this place when I get out of here I'm going to have this place closed then finally the world with be free from their cruelty..." Capricorn rambled with annoyance.
"Okay, that doesn't have to do with the lizard though." Cancer said with disappointment.
"Aires?"
"I feel hot. Really hot."
Cancer sighed, probably not wanting to deal with sick children.
"Does anyone have their phones?" Aquarius asked, holding up his.
Leo, Scorpio, Libra, and Aquarius had their phones.
"Okay good. Turn off your flashlight to save battery, Aqua." Cancer said.
I felt Sag lift her head off my shoulder when he did so, her fear practically radiating off her. I gently pulled her closer to me, rubbing her back. Her pain looks like it fucking sucks.
Suddenly, a creaking noise filled the space, like a heavy door opening. It closed shut with a thud and an erie silence fell over us. I pulled Sag into my arms, fully prepared to escape and run like hell.
And then, something slammed into the cell bars, like a cane. A chuckle came after, not a friendly one.
"You sure are funny ones, aren't you?"
The lights turned on, temporarily blinding me. What happened next? To be honest, I'm not even sure.
