Y/n was nearing the end of her shift for the night, which she was very grateful for. She didn't really enjoy this last hour because most men who would drink there get drunk and many have tried to assault her. Not only her, but other people, men and women. But she didn't hate the job itself. She in fact enjoys serving drinks, it's just the nights at the bar she hates. Her legs also started to grow sore after rushing around for hours to prepare alcohol.

A man stumbled over to the counter, asking...no, begging for another drink. He was around 6 foot and had long blond hair. She told him no, he was obviously drunk, and maybe a little high. He slammed his fist on the wood and demanded for another. She jumped slightly at the loud and sudden action, but still stood her ground and told him no. He didn't like that. He began trying to climb over the counter to supposedly hit her, until someone stopped him and dragged him off. The man had rose coloured hair and a fit body with tattoos creeping along his arms and neck. She also took notice to his honey eyes, that seemed to almost glow in the dark building.

"She said no, you're drunk as fuck dude." He said to the man who tried to assault you.

"Nooo~ I just got here!! you're the drunk one, Akaza-dono~" Akaza? the name echoed in your head. So that's his name. I smiled at Akaza.

"uhm...thank you sir." I said awkwardly. He turned his attention to me and nodded quickly before going back to scolding the blond man. After the blond stormed out of the room, Akaza walked over to you again, sitting down at the counter.

"Sorry about him, he's kinda an alcoholic," He explained, letting out a loud sigh of annoyance. "Can I get a drink please?" He asked.

"Oh- uhm sure, what kind?"

"I'll take anything." God, he sounded exhausted. I quickly made him a margarita, sliding it over the counter to him.

"Hey I never got your name," He said, taking a large sip of the drink. "Oh, it's Y/n, no one really ever asks me that," I laughed a bit. "they normally just demand a drink and get back to dancing with their friends."

"Oh, well it's nice to meet you Y/n. My name is Akaza," He said with a soft smile. "I came here alone but that dickhead Douma followed me." He rolled his eyes, sipping the drink once again. "I feel like I've seen you before..do you know anyone of the name Shinobu?" He asked. I shook my head no. "Oh..shes a good friend of mine, who also hates Douma." I continued listening to him. He continued just ranting for a while before realising he had finished his drink and was ready to head home.

"Well it was a pleasure meeting you, Y/n. Cya around." As he walked away, I noticed a small piece of paper under his drink. It had a number on it, his number. I picked it up and put it in my pocket to call later once I was done my shift for the night.

But my shift didn't end up ending anytime soon.

I had to work overtime because a costumer came in smashing a bunch of bottles and trying to fight people, refusing to leave when asked. security was called but since I was the only worker left I was in charge of cleaning up the mess he had made. So It was a very long and tiring night cleaning up broken glass and blood. As I was cleaning, the piece of paper fell out of my pocket. Should I call him?  It was pretty late, but worth a shot. I took out my phone and put in the number. It rung a few times. I thought he wouldn't pick up, but he eventually did. "Y/n?" he asked. I felt bad, he sounded tired. "yeah, sorry for calling so late, some shit happened at the club and I'm in charge of cleaning it all up." I groaned. "Oh well I can come and help if you'd like, I don't live far." I wanted to accept his offer, but I felt like that would be pretty shitty of me, considering it was almost 2 in the morning. "I really appreciate the offer but it's way too late, you should sleep. Why are you still up anyway?" I asked, he stayed silent for a moment as though he was trying to figure out the question himself. "Oh just uh doing stuff." He told me, sounding unsure. But I didn't want to force him to tell me so I just dropped the topic. "Okay well I'll let you rest now, bye!" I said before hanging up.

Another hour passed and I was no where near being finished cleaning. I heard the bell above the door ding as someone opened it. I turned around quickly, only to see Akaza standing at the frame. "Akaza? But I thought I told you-" He cut me off. "I want to help, I have nothing better to do." maybe sleep? I thought to myself as he walked in and began helping me mop the floors. Why was he doing this? I mean we just met and he went out of his way to come here at 3 in the morning to help me clean? It didn't make sense.

After a while I was exhausted. Like, starting to feel high type of exhausted. And I could tell Akaza was as well, but he was still focused on cleaning.

"Hey, It's basically clean, you can go home." I told him. "Really? what about you?" He asked. "Oh well I walked here so..." He thought for a minute before speaking up again. "I don't think it's safe walking alone at this kind of hour, I can drive you if you'd like." He offered. Why was he being so kind to me? I nodded my head. I would be stupid turning him down. I left with him after closing the bar for the night, and he drove me home. The car ride was a bit awkward if I'm being honest. We didn't speak and the radio was off, so It was silent. He dropped me off at my house, as I thanked him once again for his help with everything. He waved goodbye as I entered my home. I placed my things down and went upstairs to shower. Once I finally got into bed, I couldn't stop thinking about him.

I hope he becomes a regular customer. I thought to myself, dozing off into a deep sleep.
