Jeoju's eyes slowly flutter open, her body naturally starting to wake up. Taking the time to adjust to her new surroundings, she noticed the room around her.
Candles in the most exquisite scones that lit the walls, the clean and shallow waters that were the locations entrance and exit, the most reflective mirrors that had the place illuminated from both candle light and water.
The bed she was in, draped with black lace netting, the sheets and pillows a silk white, the blankets the perfect weight to make anybody comfortable and calm.
Taking in the gorgeous space, she looked into a mirror, observing herself and noticed the new glittery gown she was in.
She carefully crawled out from the heavy blankets and watched as her train lay behind her feet. Jeoju smiles at the new image of herself.
The sleeves long and spacious, the bust showing slight cleavage, comfortable enough to where Jeoju isn't too shy, and the waist sinched by the built-in corset. She started to feel herself, getting a feel for the new outfit and felt...royal. Blessed even to be able to wear something so clean and sparkly.
Jeoju looks down at her wrists, still a bit red from the evening before, and frowns. She remembered the feeling of shards digging into the flesh of her back as she was shoved in her mirror and wanted to see how much damage was done.
She sees the bandages on her shoulder and carefully pulls down the sleeve of the dress to get a better look. Surprised as to how the bandages were able to peel off easy, there were no recent injuries but scars. Scars were present as if what occurred last night happened last year.
Were these always here? Jeoju asks herself, pulling down the front of the dress to see her back a bit clearer. Grateful for the surrounding mirrors, Jeoju was able to see her back on display.
"I'm happy they healed as fast as they did."
Jeoju gasps, quickly trying to put her dress back on, not noticing the young male in the reflection.
"How do you feel?"
Jeoju is able to calm down now, taking a better look at the person in front of her. It's him! My guardian angel!
"I feel...alive."
The blonde haired male smiles at this, relieved to see the woman look and feel as she says 'alive'.
Jeoju hesitates to say something to her savior, stricken by his beauty from seeing him up close. He begins to stride towards her.
"May I know your name?" Jeoju asks, watching as he stops directly in front of her.
"Jake," he states, his eyes making endless contact with hers.
Jeoju smiles, nervously looking back and forth between his blue orbs, her breathing quiet and somewhat quick.
"I came to see how your healing went, may I look?"
Jeoju's cheeks begin to turn red but approves of Jake's request. Jake places his hands on her shoulders, gently turning her to face the mirror as he begins to pull down the dress to observe the newly healed scars of her back.
