"Good morning Y/N. Come sit."

You hesitantly made your way over to the open seat beside Jin. Every move you made had to be intentional and careful, otherwise any mistake could tear open your newly welcomed scabs and at home sutures.

"Where are the others?"

Your throat was sore, making your voice scratchy and harsh.

"Not here, which is why I wanted to talk to you."

Jin adjusted further into the corner of the couch after placing some papers onto the coffee table. Hobi sat in the chair closest to Jin, focusing intently on what he had to say. Behind you, sat Jimin in the other armchair.

Jimin stared at you with luminosity in his eyes. His face, which was drastically more beautiful in person, held a strong look of contentment.

"Before we start Y/N, I believe an apology is in order."

Your left eyebrow raised at Jin's remark.

"In all the time that I've known Namjoon, Taehyung, and Jungkook, I could've never expected them to be so ignorant. I allowed you to be brought here on certain conditions, but my own men have failed me. The pain that I have caused you is tremendous, and I hope that one day when this is all over, you might learn to forgive me."

Jin's words made it incredibly difficult to form thoughts of your own.

"Everything else that has happened since you arrived was unintentional. Unfortunately, so was your interaction with The Green Dragon. Like I said when I introduced us to you on your first night here, my job is to worry about the safety of everyone and make sure we all get out alive. Because of the circumstances, that now includes you. Whether Namjoon agrees or not."

"I don't understand. Why are you telling me this now?"

"Namjoon doesn't want me to tell you anything more than you already know, but I disagree. Now that you are directly involved with The Green Dragon, if we let you go now ... It could be fatal for you."

"More fatal than staying here?"

The three men looked towards each other for support on their own behalfs. Before Jin could respond, Hobi's phone started ringing from the depths of his jean pocket. After checking who it was, he left the apartment without a word.

Jimin got up from his seat and sat down in the chair where Hobi was originally sitting. Immediately after getting comfortable, he locked eyes with you.

"The three of us would like to make you a deal."

A deal?

Then Jin asked you a simple question.

"How much do you want to know?"

"Everything."

"Then I'll tell you. But you should know that this information comes with a price."

You nodded your head.

"In exchange for telling you the truth, you give us your trust. And most importantly, you promise not to try anything behind our backs."

Shit.

"That doesn't sound like a very good deal on my end," you remarked.

"If you do this for us, when it's all said and done- we'll let you go. And in the meantime ... we will make sure that no harm comes to you."

"Not even from your own men?"

"No, not even from them."

Inside the cavity of your chest, your heart started beating insanely fast. The fact that you had a chance at freedom, at going back to your old life, at being as far away from The Black Suits as you possibly could, filled your head with all sorts of positively imaginative things.
