Sid's POV:

Leaning against the metal railing, staring out towards Cindy and Luke's market. I feel Heartbroken. It feels like my heart has been ripped out of my chest. I never meant to make Juliet feel like I only wanted one thing from her, that was never the case. I just wanted to show her how much she meant to me and how much I love her. She's my best friend, or she was. I need to fix this but I don't know how too. There is something going on with her and I plan on figuring that out.
Out of the corner of my eye, I can see Jordan walking towards me. With all that's happened with Juliet, I completely forgot about the Holiday that Jordan booked for us.

"Look Jord. Tomorrow's off. Juliet dumped me."

"Cupid here. I only paid for that flat so you two could do some deals whilst you were down there."

"Yeah well I didn't know that, did I Jord?"

"I knew you'd let me down. We had a shipment coming in tomorrow that you were supposed to sell on. My bosses are not going to be happy."

"I could still go."

"Are you for real?"

"Yeah."

"Two kids off to the seaside in 'kiss me quick' hats goes under the radar. But the police are going to clock a spotty loser with a rucksack." He barges past me, nudging my shoulder in the process.

"Just give... just give me a chance, Jord. I promise you that I can do it."

"Alright, ok. Take this burner, you'll have to prove to me first that you can fly solo. No mistakes."

"Prove it how?"

He rustles his hands in his pockets before revealing a baggy filed with a white substance. Is that coke?

"By selling this."

Juliet's POV:

My head is in a mess. I know I've done the right thing, breaking up with Sid. It wasn't fair to him, me stringing him along like that. My subconscious knows deep down that my heart beats for someone else.
Walking along the pier with Peri is helping though, until she brings up the topic of Sid.

"You didn't go into any details about why you broke up."

"I just wasn't feeling it."

In that moment, my phone began to ring. Looking at the caller ID, Sid's name pops up. I quickly reject the call, placing my phone on silent before putting it back into my pocket.

"Was that Sid?"

"Yeah."

"Look, it's a small Village. You're going to have to speak to him at some point."

"Yeah I will, but just not today. Anyway, you and Jordan, are you still seeing him?"

"Yeah, on a casual basis. Which is fine, I mean, I've had my heart broken once by Harley before, so I am in no rush to go through that again."

"Harley?"

"A girl I met when I was sleeping rough."

Sleeping rough? Maybe me and Peri have a lot more in common than I thought. Everyone still thinks I am living with the rest of the Nightingales, and I want to keep it that way. Only Marnie knows where I am sleeping as she caught me one night getting a glass of water from the bar and taking it up the stairs. She soon followed me. She tried to get me to come back home but I refused. Wait, did Peri say she had her heart broken by a girl?!
