Autumn had decided to walk Evie to school as she didn't have any surgery's scheduled until the late afternoon. "Do you know how we picked your name?" Autumn asked looking at her daughter who shook her head.
"I like my name did you pick it or daddy?" Evie asks looking up at Autumn as she held her hand while the other rest on her growing bump.
"Well I'm very glad you like it because actually Daddy picked your name. And you know how your born on Christmas Eve well we're going to call you Eve but daddy suggested Evie which we both loved. And so you were name Evie Adeline Sloan and Adeline was suggested because it was similar to auntie addies name." Autumn explained to her daughter.
"Does the baby have a name?" Evie says while Autumn looks down at her.
"We've got ideas but the right name just hasn't come to us yet but when we meet them we'll think of the perfect name." Autumn explained while the two continued the walk to school.

Autumn finished up with one of her consults as Mark walked towards her. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder pressing a kiss against her head. Autumn responded by smiling up at him to which he returned.
"How are you feeling?" Mark asks her as he turns to face her placing one of his hands on her bump. The baby react instantly at his touch as they began kicking.
"I was fine until you awoke junior." Autumn says smiling placing her hand on Marks while he smiled at her. "How about you?" Autumn asks her.
"Bailey is everywhere I swear I've got a patient of hers and she's just doing everything to stop the surgery." Mark complained while Autumn smiled at him.
"I've got an idea to make you feel better." Autumn said leaning up and kissing Mark. Mark rest his head against her while he looked at her.
"I do love the way your mind work Dr Montgomery." Mark said before pulling Autumn into the closest on call room.

Autumns pager went off causing Mark to groan as he laid beside her. "Duty calls pretty boy." Autumn says looking at Mark as she changed into her scrubs.
"There are other surgeons they can page." Mark groaned while Autumn looked up at him.
"None that are as talented as I am Dr Sloan. You know that." Autumn said with a smirk on her lips. Mark sat up wrapping his arms around her before placing a kiss on her lips.
"Believe I know that better than anyone." Mark replied as Autumn picked up his top holding it against his chest.
"Well then my work here is done." Autumn says kissing him once more before going to answer her pager.

"Amelia Shepherd it's been a quick minute." Autumn called out to the youngest Shepherd.
Amelia looked at Autumn noticing her bump as she smiled slightly. "Looks like it has. How are you feeling?" Amelia says while Autumn smiles at her.
"I couldn't be better finally past the worst of it. Luckily no sickness this time around." Autumn said as she intuitively rubbing her bump.
"You look great. Your definitely glowing. So boy or girl?" Amelia questions her while autumn smiles at her softly.
"We don't yet we're waiting. But how are you doing?" Autumn asks knowing Amelia had been struggling recently.
"Addie told you. I'm fine honestly I'm in recovery and I'm doing well." Amelia said while Autumn looked at her.
"I'm glad to hear it. If you need anything or someone to talk to you can call me. I know Addie can be full on sometimes." Autumn said while the two of them lightly chuckled.
"Thank you at least someone is treating me like I'm normal." Amelia says while Autumn nods in response.
"You've been through a lot but treating you like glass won't help. Right?" Autumn questioned looking at the youngest Shepherd.
"Yeah definitely that's what I've told everyone they just don't want to hear it especially Derek. He's an ass." Amelia says while Autumn chuckles.
"Aren't all big brothers? Archer is the same honestly I sometimes question why I keep him around. But they come good in the end. Derek probably thinks he's protecting you. I'm sorry I've got to go but don't be a stranger." Autumn said before going to her next surgery as she looked at the time.

Callie stood beside Autumn who was sat reading over her notes. "I thought you'd be in the surgery on Morgan." Callie says while she looks up at her.
"I ask Teddy to take it. She's like 4 weeks behind me. Just makes you think how anything can happen." Autumn says looking at Callie.
"Yeah don't we know it. Sofia the little miracle she is." Callie says while Autumn gives her a small smile.
"I just want to keep this one in here where their supposed to be safe." Autumn says while Callie watches her.
"This baby is fine and will be healthy. They'll even come late." Callie says causing Autumn to chuckle.
"I hope not I already feel like I'm the size of a whale." Autumn says while both women laugh before Callie went to her surgery.

Autumn laid in bed while Mark told her about his surgery with Avery and Bailey. "I can't believe he told Bailey to get out." Autumn says while Mark looked at her.
"I know he even surprised me." Mark says proudly as Autumn smiles at him.
"That's your proud dad face." Autumn says smiling while Mark smiles at her.
"I was proud of him you know teaching him and passing it on its great." Mark says while Autumn smiles at him and kisses him.
"I love you Mark sloan." Autumn says watching him.
"I love you too." Mark says before he leans over and kisses her.

So for this story I've got two ideas for baby sloan#2 rather she had the baby before the plane crash or during the plane crash. The second idea does mean Mark would miss the birth but it would add more ideas for season 9. Which would you prefer to ready?
