Chapter 4.65 - Love

*For a moment Lorenzo is absolutely silent.*

Lorenzo: "I have a new girlfriend now. I can't wait for her my whole life."

Y/N: "But she's the love of your life Lorenzo."

Lorenzo: "Sometimes it's not meant to be Y/N. Sometimes you have to let go of people though you really love them just for their own good and yours."

Y/N: "Lorenzo..."

Lorenzo: "No... she decided it years ago. She was the one to push me away and keep Pierre as a secret."

Y/N: "You don't want to know your own son?"

Lorenzo: "For sure I want to know my son but I won't push her. I won't drag her to the court because god Pierre is already 6 years old. Imagine a fight over him at the court. It's not what Claire wanted for him and it's not what I want for him and he probably would hate me for doing that."

Y/N: "Talk to her..."

Lorenzo: "And then?"

Y/N: "Maybe there is a way you can see your son... he's already with Charles from now and then. Nobody ever questioned it or followed them and made pictures."

*Lorenzo is silent for a moment.*

Lorenzo: "I'll think about that..."

Y/N: "Please do so."

Lorenzo: "Please don't tell Charles yet."

Y/N: "Lorenzo... he will find out. He already mentioned how similar Pierre and Jules look. He'll definitely find out about you being the father of him because it can't be Arthur and he's obviously not the father of Pierre."

*Lorenzo exhales loudly.*

Lorenzo: "I'm going to tell him..."

*You nod and then you both leave the bedroom of your son. When you reach the living room again you can see that Charles just enters the living room from his bedroom.*

Y/N: "How are Pierre and Jules?"

Charles: "Our son is sleeping and Claire picked up Pierre a few moments ago. She didn't look pretty well."

*You nod.*

Y/N: "It was a long day for all of us."

*Charles nods.*

Lorenzo: "I better leave now too."

*You look at him and he exhales loudly again.*

Lorenzo: "Charles will you bring me to the door?"

*Charles looks confused from you to Lorenzo before he answers.*

Charles: "Sure?"

*He then follows Lorenzo and you can hear them talking on their way to the door in French. At some point you hear Pierres name and then Claires until you hear a few moments later the door being closed. About two minutes later Charles returns to the living room. He looks even more confused than before.*

Charles: "Did you know that Pierre is Lorenzos son?"

Y/N: "I thought so... I had some thoughts on it quite early but Claire confirmed it after I found her."

Charles: "Did she tell you why she cheated on my brother?"

Y/N: "She never cheated on Lorenzo. She found out that she's pregnant and when she saw how often and how many paparazzi are following her around the city all the time her first thought was to protect her son from that and because of that she gave up on the love of her life. That following around from the paparazzi also caused her reaction to our engagement."

Charles: "What do you mean?"

Y/N: "Claire thought that I'll run away and I leave you standing there at the aisle because I get scared that our son will get hunted down from the paparazzi like her because you're even more famous than your brother."

Charles: "Would you?"

*You can see the anxiety of him loving you again on his face and you get closer to him. You put your arms around his upper body and you give him a smile.*

Y/N: "I know you won't let that happen. You would never get me into the situation of being surrounded by the paparazzi."

Charles: "I won't... I already made sure about your safety at our first appearance at the paddock and even when we haven't been together I took care of you not being photographed."

Y/N: "You did?"

*You're surprised by that because you haven't thought at that time that he would take care of you even though you're not together but obviously you don't know everything he did for you when you haven't been together and you're always surprised by what he always did for you though he probably also was angry at you at some point.*

Charles: "Sure I did... I always made sure that you're at least ok and you're not impacted by the paparazzi and the press in total."

*You look at him in surprise which cause him a smile.*

Charles: "You ever thought Pierre could be my child?"

Y/N: "Just a moment but you've told me that you and Claire are just friends and I knew you would never have an affair with your brothers ex."

*Charles kisses you.*

Charles: "I love you."

Y/N: "I love you too."

Charles: "We're still on our plan to get married on Sunday?"

Y/N: "Sure... I'm want to get that done now."

*Charles starts to laugh.*

Charles: "You sound like you're going to the dentist and not our wedding."

*You start to laugh as well.*

Y/N: "Yes... yes... I'm sorry. I just... I love you and we went through so much in the past months. I don't want to think about it again... I don't want to have another problem or anything again. I know we will have problems... but we're married then and I guess there will not be another woman who tries to get you away from me."

Charles: "I love you too. I'll call the priest tomorrow."

Y/N: "And I'll call your mum but we need to help Lorenzo."

Charles: "He's with someone else now."

Y/N: "I know but he still loves her and I don't want him to regret getting married to someone else when he still loves Claire and she definitely loves him as well."

Charles: "You're sure about that? Since a few weeks a man is always picking her up and I met them as well at an restaurant when I was picking up food for Arthur after you had the miscarriage."

Y/N: "You're sure about that? I thought she's really honest with me and I was pretty sure that she's still in love with him and it hurt her pretty much when you told her that he's seeing another woman."

Charles: "Yes I'm sure it was her but you're right after I told her about Lorenzos new girlfriend by accident she acted differently."

Y/N: "Anyway we should go to bed and discuss that tomorrow."

Charles: "I'm absolutely with you."

*You put Jules into his own bed in your rom and then you fall asleep in Charles arms very fast.*
